I had a time in Scotland where I couldn’t find a B&B. But the train had a sleeper car available for a small fee.

That's why I'm not looking my budget can handle $300, until payoff, at which point I save up for tires

This is basic economics, inflation has made everything more expensive which reduces the individual’s abilty to pay for anything since purchasing power is down and interest rates are up. Even buying a modest car easily costs $5‐600 a month which is less bad than the $1000 and up payments we are seeing but also worse…
I can’t imagine that the relative wieght between a truck and a car matters in the slightest when you are talking 4-6Klbs vs. 200lbs. Either way, you might as well be a bug.
I need to get a front clip for one of these ASAP, 3d scan it, and start designing and developing a proper face for it to sell in the aftermarket.
Tesla only builds cheap cars. Whether they’re inexpensive or not is another question.
This is the only answer, we’re done here:
BMW XM
If they think finding a rental for a few weeks is difficult, just wait until they have to start getting repairs on a car that sits for 90% of the year...
The current issue of Car & Driver has a large chart comparing all the EV’s they’ve testing showing advertised range against real world (I think it was constant 75 mph). At the very left of the chart, at 30% below advertised, were all the Tesla’s, the worst performing of all EV’s. I recall VW and Audi were right on the…
Was it the yellow one in Renton?
Yeah, I test drove both the Bolt EV and Kona Electric and liked the Chevy just a smidge more. I really like true one-pedal driving and couldn’t justify the price premium of the Hyundai. But getting one below MSRP is almost unheard of these days. Easy cop!
No idea what they were using before, but this is what GM seems to be requiring dealers to have in order to service the EVs:
It’s not marketing at all. Gas vs induction is a worthy debate. Gas vs resistance electric (what you have) is not. It’s significantly harder to perform precision cooking tasks with electric resistance cooktops. It’s not impossible, but it’s a lot harder. When I bought my home nearly 20 years ago, I refused to buy a…
Brand loyalty is for boomers. The brand does not care about you and the dealerships don’t care.
I’ve always been confused by this mentality. As prices go up things cost more. Who do people think is supposed to pay for this.
And in case you are wondering WHY airplane leasing companies exist...
I don’t think I want to see what a further cost engineered Tesla interior looks like. Sitting in one now it’s already readily apparent they tried hard to cut interior costs and it’s blatantly obvious that all your money went to the powertrain. World class powertrain & batteries, OK economy car interior.
Max was almost a full car length behind on the approach to turn 2 before he lunged it up the inside without a hope of making that corner without using the Merc as a brake. That’s why he got a penalty. Yes Hamilton could’ve given a little bit more room, but the crash was not his fault. Max has a brake pedal too.
