Considering that long haul truckers that goes over the passes literally can drive all 4 seasons in one long shipping trip, Not sure why anyone is expecting them to have dedicated winter only tires....
Sounds like you have zero idea of what you’re talking about.
You say that, but xbox/pc gamepass minecraft can access dedicated private servers fine...
Yeah, home designs in the US most commonly just get the like range/oven combos., not just the countertop standalone.
Sounds like you don’t know jack shit? 100% space utilization doesn’t mean 100% weight utilization.
First gen product, the a fleet owner in the article complained that their EV truck has been recalled 6 times already and had significant downtime compared to their diesels. Mix that with a lack of trained techs to do the repairs, and it’s a pain right now.
Hauling has almost NEVER been about weight limits. Hell, it’s turned more to volume limitation with the rise of amazon and online retail...
With the price savings, companies can more than afford to implement a more rigorous QC plan with the chinese manufacturer.
Man... that’s what I tell everyone that’s trying to do manufacturing in China, especially contracted out to 3rd parties.
I mean... induction range would be nice if it didn’t cost like $500 more than gas/electric ranges and also require new pans for a lot of people, and also probably $2k+ in retrofits to extend the power there if it’s originally got a gas line.
If they can charge it in like 10 minutes, I can see that working lol.
Theoretically, the Tesla Semi would work if it can hit the 400-500 mile rated range with a full load, and if there’s enough of their megachargers capable of 750-1000 kw along the interstates...
You do realize that truckers make multiple trips a day right? If you’ve even bothered to read the article, they make 6-8 trips a day.
The point is recharging takes a long ass time and costs a shitload of money to install since it’s not readily available like truck gas stops/a lot cheaper to install.
Makes less money than rangers (also supply restricted) so more rangers it is lol.
Don’t worry, they’ll be back on the market soon with repos skyrocketing lol.
Yeah... Threshold braking even by pros aren’t as good as even old ABS.
Yes. Fleet owners are suppose to change the driving behavior of a EV so that it’s more acceptable to renters.
He says he wants a weekend car that takes everyone around, but he’s really getting a SUV or using that minivan for the kids... since pretty much all the sedans (other than the large sedans) are definitely not gonna carry 3 small or eventually medium sized kids.
