Ineffective? The point of a spoiler is to stagnate the air coming off the roof to increase the static pressure on the decklid, the force on the spoiler itself is mostly in the direction of travel (i.e., drag.) If you put a slot in it, now you’ve put a vent in the spoiler and you might as well not even have the upper

My problem with crossovers is efficiency. By making them higher up, you lose out on gas mileage, handling, and space. Bare minimum. I never liked sedans and probably never will.

BS! I drove a company Avalon in 2007 and that car floated. I bet the NX200t does not float. I bet it crashes over every road irregularity with 20" low profile tires.

A small, low hatchback is not the same thing as a giant jacked up box that’s bigger than a late 90s body-on-frame SUV.

Why do I want a jacked up wagon with worse driving dynamics, less space, worse fuel economy and higher cost? I mean really at this point, “CUVs” aren’t even CUVs. A 2019 Rav 4 is 3" wider and and 1" taller than a 2nd Generation Ford explorer, and about the same size as a 3rd Generation. There’s nothing “crossover”

Substitute wagon, van, and hatchback for sedan as you like. Two box is fine, just make it low.

I’d love to know what is so awesome about a sedan, aside from the fact that it existed before the CUV/SUV form factor became the new default.

My wife likes her NX200t.

We can’t Escape it. But can we EcoSport it?

The Group B homologation specials.

First thought: Citroën 2CV, but that thing is effectively available new already.

Pretty sure that Venn diagram is just one circle.

Oh, no doubt cars were great for mobility. I just don’t think specifically driving them is critical to the equation.

Show us on the doll where the chemtrails touched you.

Your comment is absolutely bonkers.

SHIT TONS OF SALT YO.

A toe link does exactly as it’s name applies - it affects the “toe” setting of the rear suspension. On many rear independent suspensions, there is some adjustment in toe possible due to how the suspensions are setup.

“Licensing requirements increase, reducing the number of causal drivers.”

Do you actually think mobility will go away? Is it your contention that it didn’t exist before cars? If that’s true, is it really a core freedom if it’s only existed for around 100 years? Are people in New York City not free? Am I ceding my freedom when I walk to work?

Perfect world, in my opinion:
