Washington State also has a yearly safety inspection and yet I see at least one jalopy a day with current tags. A lot can happen to a car in 12 months of driving.

I stay old school - I give a coworker a lift to the office for our weekly meetings (we both work from home usually) and she buys me coffee.
A 2019+ Insight does ~2,200 revs/mile when the engine is engaged on its only gear. At 60 MPH that’s 2200 rpm. If you are interchanging wide with long in your description of a gear, then sure I agree.
And the aftermarket manufacturers (Thule, Yakima, etc) will tell you to count the roof rack weight in to the mix too. ~40lbs for the rack and you only have 125 lbs left for the accessories. One of those hardcase boxes weighs in at ~50lbs empty.
Its a hybrid so the two motor power numbers don’t align at the same output shaft RPM. Shifted peaks means they can’t directly add.
Oh dear - convincing a kid to go anywhere, including in to a car seat can be like an ice pick to the temple. As a wet noodle they can apparently double in weight which can immediately contrast to the sticky hands situation as you described.
My credit union offers a secured card which simply uses a savings or checking account within their bank to secure it. It can even be an account you already hold within the bank. That seems even closer to a ‘debit-style’ credit card than what has been described here.
I take that as all laws are useless crap in your point of view.
Oh man, I completely forgot about that car. That looks awesome. Just look at the size of the door opening! It is a shame about the rest of the car though.
Official or unofficial naming?
I feel like $110k should be buying you a mini with an H1V8 in it.
If the seat is a removable type which turns into a carrier, then the passenger side seems like its the only practical side for that.
I know a gal who drives a Quad Cab truck - one of the reasons being she can swing her chair right behind her through the suicide rear door without disassembling the thing.
How do you feel about basically every Land Rover?
Drive one and you’ll understand the practicality of the 3rd door if you care to notice the small things. Think of it as a 2 door car which gets to cheat with that 3rd door.
Do some efficiency math and you’ll find you’re asking for the wrong thing.
The Insight has a direct drive purely because it is more efficient than the pathway through the generator when at highway speeds. It has no ‘transmission’, only a clutch. You are reading the information about the old model...
Like the 2011-2015 Volt, right?
I think you are exactly on point. It’s an L2 system.
Its a feeling similar to tramlining in my opinion. I get the same feeling in my 2019 Ioniq. As long as I’m not in a groove where the road is louder, I actually just gave up caring. Meh. :D
