Solar energy is radiation - which can easily be reflected away with shiny stuff. And if other parts of the radiation are absorbed and converted into heat outside of the car and electricity used to move heat from within the car, its certainly possible to cool a car using only the solar radiation hitting the vehicle.
PV price per watt is somewhere around $2.75 (+/- $0.25). They are estimating a yearly production from the roof of ~200kW (800 miles of EV range @ ~250Wh/mile) and at 6 hours a day (their number), the solar panel would produce ~550 Wh / day which is ~100W panel.
Requiring pit stops is a good way to allow cars stuck in the middle of the pack to pass cars just by going on a different strategy. But that usually isn’t fun to watch because someone just gets passed while parked in the pits for tires.
AFAIK, porque no los dos?
A sway bar is a spring that connects both wheels in a similar way. The transverse leaf, if implemented well, actually can be remarkably independent wheel to wheel. It still usually has binding issues when implented on a suspension with too much travel and that can cause inconsistent or undesired spring rates.
Back seats are even less safe than front seats.

Every American has been that light or lighter! Literally every single one of us.
Close enough that the rest of the article doesn’t reveal the true intent of the original statement. Was it that the mid-engined Vette was always a feature in articles or was is is that it was always around the corner? Both? Hook applies the same.
The hook could be read with either ‘eminent’ or ‘imminent’ in it and deliver almost the same comprehension. Nice.
Like my Opel GT! Heh, the tiny vette did something first - not gonna call it a good thing, but it did a thing first.
I think we agree and I was just failing at understanding your previous comment.
Can you located the temperature controls on your current car? Volume knob? How about in a 90s vehicle? Could you do that without taking your eyes off of the road?
You know how you can’t ever remember where the % or * keys are on your keyboard without looking? I feel like the same thing will happen here, but instead of a line of 13 buttons there is a line of 19 or 20 buttons.
Yeah - buttons are only better when they can operated without looking at them.
Exactly! There is nuance to both of those complaints.
