My MIL has one, she likes everything about it other than the driver's seat. She says she can't spend more than an hour in the car at a time.

Sounds like you need an autonomous car. Just browse jalopnik the whole drive.
I take ‘executive’ as person in suit and it looks like it’s pretty close to noise from the avaerga adult baseline.
Ironic, maybe?
Ive noticed most of the contractors around here using high roof vans now instead of pickups. Some even tow a trailer and have the van. There is a LOT of space inside a large high roof van.
You know, it's not really a problem in the rest of the world.
Heh, you’re in Texas. Lots of the horse owners in Washington just come out to a boarding location and pet the noses of their horses.
I wouldn’t give Toyota a pass. They are one of the worst offenders for dragging their feet.
I’m happy for you. Seriously, good work actually using your pickup. You are not the norm.
Yeah, it's a city thing.
I agree with you. It’s always the details that make the case, right? If someone only tows twice a year but use that solely as their justification for the truck, maybe they would be better served compensating someone else for the use of their truck.
I agree with you on both fronts.
You do what I think most would actually prefer. Fun and affordable car + trailer is generally going to beat a pickup in every aspect of its mantra other than immediate convenience since you’ll have to hitch up the trailer.
Yes.
I never countered a ‘want’ argument. Want what you like.
I think its a tragedy of the commons argument - How many more people would be able to make use of the street if everyone was in a Fiat 500 rather than a Ram 1500?
The Flex and the F150 ‘Shiny Edition’, as my wife likes to call them, actually seemed to make pretty good used of that bolted-on shiny piece if the stylizing of the car.
