Oh Oh Oh! Even more ideas! What if we expand on the tractor-trailer concept a bit more and make a really, really big tractor which is basically just a giant engine? It’ll be the giant engine on wheels! We could just call the ‘Engine’ for short.

The solution is so simple! Just stick a hand on the front and back of each truck and have them bump into each other and hold hands. Then, they can talk to each other and agree to accelerate and brake uniformly. If you get enough trucks holding hands, then when the ‘platoon’ encounters a hill, the ones at the bottom

Lol, the ‘normal’ 500 is actually OK. Its reliable enough and does its job (tiny city car) very well.

This is what I have learned today:

After 3 years a full 40% of Fiat’s lineup has at least 45% depreciation. This is what I have learned today.

I asked this in another thread to another person, but about how long would you say is the ‘appropriate’ amount of time to spend next to a semi? Ther for sure is a time that is too long and I believe there is a time that is too short, but I’m interested in hearing other’s opinions.

I am a real estate broker and I mostly work in land and development - I feel like I know a thing or two about real estate.

Not to be pedantic because I appreciate what you have contributed. But, there are documented cases of 747s flying on only two engines, if only for a short time. Technically they were capable of climbing while at an altitude of ~13,000ft while on only two engines and 263 people on board.

The new 2.0T is equally as fast as the old V6 version - still a hair over 5.5 seconds 0-60.

Ya, I’m down. The Accord is great car once you hop off the base trim.

Awesome choice for the ‘used’ side of the argument. ++

Plenty - 7.5 seconds 0-60 seems to be where my mind has decided something is fast. I’ve driven sub 3 second cars and I’ve owned 10+ second cars. 7.5 seems ‘fast’ for a daily.

...than they have been... My fault for not completing that phrase.

You’re right, it was just a common PHEV thats out there. I guess the Sonata / Optima PHEV might fit? Its a 7.7 0-60 though.

We have so many friends with shite tons of debt. Most have 6 figure debts but were also in college+ school for 8+ years.

The explosion in an engine takes pressure and produces pressure but pressure isn’t a requirement for all gasoline ignitions and subsequent explosions to take place.

What? Start arguing in good faith and I’ll come back.

It certainly does when you also have that Ferrari in your garage.

Actually, no. Main descriptors used were “seats four, “fast”, “not flashy”, “reliable”, “hybrid”.

Just because your reference frame is looking at 1.7s 0-60 times doesn’t mean 6.7s 0-60 is not legitimately fast. The bar for what is possible has moved, but the bar for what is ‘fast’ hasn’t.
