Considering that my experience with ‘ghost kitchens’ is almost entirely based on them stealing another established restaurants’ name, trade dress, and menu and operating online deliveries without permission?

Between the added expense, delivery delays, expected tipps, fake or unknown websites and website menus, It is just easier to go get food at an actual restaurant. I get that mobility/transportation is an issue for many but not enough to support an industry.

The same people seemed absolutely blindsided when pent up demand was released, supply couldn’t instantly recover to meet it, lots of people had more cash than they expected to from government programs that supported the economy through the pandemic, and companies looked to recover profits from a poor year when…

It boggles my mind that “business knowers” somehow assumed that conditions (a huge increase in deliveries and people not wanting to eat in at restaurants) that were related to a once-in-a-lifetime pandemic would continue after the pandemic was over and we could return to our normal lives.

Except that this one didn’t have bad writing. It was a good, fun, funny movie.

As impressive as all of this new technology is, making Godzilla look like a real, honest-to-God creature, nothing beats the magic of when I was a little kid, tuning into Creature Features after school, and watching some guy in a rubber suit trampling all over a model of Tokyo.

I’m not sure how long the market expects to go on like this.

Have the automakers though about maybe making BIGGER suv and truck models to keep costs down... wait..
