Freightliner, Volvo (Mack and Volvo brands) and PACCAR (Peterbilt and Kenworth) have had electric semi tractors out for a couple years now, but yay for Tesla I guess.

Well, I guess they learned their lesson from going no-button on their infotainment for a little while. Glad to see it.

This is the first EV for the regular person/family. Nothing crazy, just what appears to be a good usable car.

It’s funny. I always thought that the way to introduce “new” technology was to make it look as normal as possible and super easy to use. The Prius proved me wrong, though, but it seems that Toyota may have learned their lesson perhaps too well.

It’s really nice having a laptop sized map open instead of a cell phone sized map open, especially if you need to do some pinch-zoom or pinch-rotating stuff. Also it helps when typing on a touchscreen since it’s at arm’s length, and not with your thumbs like on a phone. But also to answer your other question, yes

Which terrible reviews to you speak of? I’m seeing elsewhere what I’m seeing here, which is “you already knew if this was going to be your cup of tea, and if it is you’ll like it just fine”.

No, but only because they don't like anything. They don't even like themselves.

The difference between tigers and cops, is that tigers don’t cover for other tigers. Even the “good” cops hold that thin blue line and cover for the bad ones, which is why they are all bad ones.

Saying anything should be the “final word” in a field as vast as film is silly.

The rona has passed over, those that are going to be vaccinated have gotten the shot. Its time to come outside again friend. you did you job, its time to relax.

Right!? Julia didn't murder dudes for Frank because she was a horrible psycho. She was a beautiful, sensual woman trapped in a marriage to a milquetoast American whose rough trade brother had opened her eyes to the banality of her existence. Like sure, there's a skinned dude and lots of hooks in flesh. But it's a

Hellraiser was about the extremes a desperate #girlboss with incredible shoulder pads would go to for some good dick.

This is the first TV or movie review I’ve read here in months that wasn’t 90% plot exposition. Gold star

Not imo. It starts with a horny dude exploring the pleasure/pain boundary and then his ex lover going to extreme and desperate measures to get to fuck him again.

Overwrought metaphor sucks and there is a lot of room for the more straightforward grindhouse delights. That said, I'm not a fan of the backlash against "elevated horror". That backlash generally feels pretty ignorant and unnecessarily edgelord.

I’m going to watch it before passing that judgment anyway.  Reviewers seem to feel the need to attach subtext where it doesn’t necessarily exist.

Isn’t EVERY horror franchise great when they go into space? Leprechaun and Jason certainly benefitted from their trips into outer space.

I did not enjoy those, but I appreciate someone liking them; I too, have enjoyed certain, lesser, “in space” horror sequels.

I watched The Night House recently and thought it was fantastic, and the trailer for this shows Leviathan, so I’m excited to give it a watch and see what they do with all the mythology.

I always thought the puzzle box was supposed to be something of a challenge to gain access to the ultimate sensations of the flesh, a prize only a few of the most committed or simply good with puzzles could achieve.
