Both of the Velaryons and Targaryans were defined by characteristic Valyrian traits. In the show, these traits are taken to be the absurd colours of their hair and their resistance to fire. In the books, it’s their hair and eyes.

Martin did give a pretty nice view of the subject back in 2013:

Totally agreed. My early 00s Volvo XC70 was honestly a better “truck” than most actual trucks because I could easily fit 8' boards in the back of it. My buddy’s Tacoma can’t even fit a bike flat in the bed without taking a wheel off, which was a feat easily accomplished by my old RSX of all things.

One of the reasons I got a Ridgeline was because it had the biggest bed of all of the short-bed mid-size trucks, so I could have the utility AND be able to park it in my garage. Folks can call it “not a real truck” if they want, but it does some primary truck duties (e.g. - hauling stuff in the bed) better than its

The Ridgeline is kind of a funny market example because the truck and enthusiast community likes to crap on them for not being a “real” truck, but the people who buy them absolutely love those things. They hold their value incredibly well on the secondhand market too.

This a movie 100% aimed at the LGBTQ crowd

Right that is a VERY fucked up thing to say.  And blaming straight people is also really dumb. This a movie 100% aimed at the LGBTQ crowd, and the rom com crowd, so why are you blaming straight people for not seeing a movie not aimed at them.  That’s like blaming a horror movie not doing well because people who don’t

I think it’s also fair to point out that there’s actually plenty of gay rom-coms. This might be the first wide release one from a major studio, but people with active interest in the genre haven’t really been starved for them.

The trailer for this movie has a joke that says:

I did see a trailer for the film, because for a while trailers.apple.com had mislabeled the trailer as the second trailer for the movie Nope.

Well there’s little to no advertising for it as far as I can tell. Also there are a lot of us who have exactly 0 interest in rom-coms no matter if they’re straight or gay.

I love Billy, I am excited to see this movie, but honestly I just never go to the movies anymore. I genuinely can’t recall the last movie I saw in the theater. Maybe The Batman? It’s just not a thing I do anymore, and I don’t think I’m alone since the pandemic.

Shocking that the ‘if you don’t see my movie you’re a homophobic bigot who voted for Trump’ ad campaign isn’t working

There’s a demographic somewhere between active homophobe and not particularly interested in romantic comedy (regardless of the gender identity and / or sexual orientation of the characters who will be having sex with eachother by the end of the film).

All your moms are belong to us!

No you worthless son of a bitch your mom's Avengers Endgame. Or Disney.

My mom is sucks?

So is your mom.

Crazy Rich Asians made a lot of money as a romcom, but if I look up the comedies with the biggest box office for every year, the most recent ones are dominated by family-friendly animated ones & Chinese movies I’m unfamiliar with.

Also wait.... the Avatar re-release beat Avengers Endgame for highest grossing film of all-time. BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Marvel only rereleased the damn thing cuz it was inches away from dethroning Avatar and Avatar’s just like “nope I’m gonna do the same thing for other reasons and reclaim it” That’s tooooo funny.
