Manson worship?

Yeah, everything in that film had a purpose.

I’ve only seen the top three films and Ad Astra. The top three were all great films but The Irishman wasn’t #1 great. Ad Astra was a disappointment. Not sure it deserves to be on this list at all. The fundamental premise was pretty dumb and so much of it didn’t make sense. It was beautiful though.

But really, what does it even mean for “something to happen” in films? Really, it’s all just images on a screen. An image of people talking is happening just as much as an image of exploding spaceships. What are we doing anyway?

You’re doing more than just seeing it. You’re thinking about it and asking about it on the internets. Why not just let these people do their thing however they want? What difference does it make to you how they pay for their stuff?

I think it’s more odd that you’re creeping on these people’s business.

I was confused by the incel talk. I mean if he's an incel how's he end up with Margo Robbie?

Didn’t Cronenberg do a Miss Siagon adaptation?

I’m “using a stillsuit” right now, ahhhh...

But some forms of electric generation have no emissions (hydro power, nuclear, solar, and wind.) And natural gas powered plants run clean relative to autos. Coal plants are probably dirtier than gas cars but they are going away. And all power plants can be located outside of cities where their emissions will have less

Gas cars get us where we need to go but their emissions are a real problem. EVs solve that. AVs do seem pointless though.

How would an AV garbage truck save fuel?

That may or may not be true of the average car buyer. But around half the car buyers could be below average.

There’s no controversy. Everyone agrees it’s a shitty ad.

Yeah, the level of fear she showed before her first ride is what got me. If you’re scared to ride an exercise bike you need a therapist more than you need an exercise bike.

My older brother had one of these with a manual. I don't remember which year. All I remember is that thing had the most difficult shifter ever. Getting it into gear was a freaking job. Wtf? Just putting it into reverse was a workout.

Sales probably fell because people heard stories about how bad the early model years were. Working kinks out while you're actually selling the car is hell on a car's reputation.

I was very impressed with the Volt I drove.

Who stores plants in a garage? Plants need light to live. Are you growing mushrooms or something?

Yeah, I’m totally baffled by his cinematography comment.
