Yeah, I kind of agree. Please watch Terminator 2 so I won’t be the only person on the internet who doesn’t like it.

Monotonous? Why they drove really fast and got chased going one direction for a while, but, wait for it, then they turned around and drove really fast and got chased going back the way they came. How can it be monotonous when they weren’t going the same direction through the whole movie?

You must have seen different 80s action movies than me. Fury Road, at least to me, didn’t touch on any 80s action tropes. And cinematography? In 80s action movies? WTF are you talking about? To me, Comando is the quintessential 80s action movie and FR has zero in common with Comando.

The trailers were so bad I can’t imagine the movie itself isn’t at least a little better than them. But still, terrible marketing is terrible marketing.

Silence is awesome.

Yeah, I did not know that either. That just makes CNN hiring Z that much stupider.

Does jerky not spoil eventually?

This brings back memories. My old friend had one of these with a four cylinder and manual. It was awesome. It got us deep in the wilderness and brought us back every time. It got stolen and was never seen again. That was heartbreaking.

Vehicle shows and all the other similar shows too, sword making, glass blowing etc..

It matters because we need to keep it that way.

Which means they have even more development costs to deal with and they manage to do it without mergers.

“Splitting development costs and sharing platforms is the direction they need to go to survive.” Is exactly what people were saying in the 90s too. And all these companies that didn't do that (e.g., Honda) are still around.

All true, but I have no confidence that the same mistakes won't get made again.

Exactly. This crap about needing money for investing in new tech is total crap. If little Mazda can research and develop a whole new ICE engine than it’s hard to say that DCA is too small to research and develop an electric motor. It’s about the execs making fat cash.

A lot of people were saying that back in the 1990s. And all the mergers that happened then (e.g., Ford-Jag, MB-Chrysler, GM-SAAB) turned out to be crap and were undone.

Yeah I cannot understand why they didn’t just rebadge the RC. It could have worked.

I’m 50 and I was excited about it (my first car was a ‘79 Supra.) But the car just doesn’t do anything for me.

Some good shots of that tight brunette they got to play the princess would get some boys to buy tickets.

I had no idea that Asylum movie existed. I would not have guessed Traci Lords would be the Mars princess. Still they could have reused the title (plenty of films have the same title don’t they?) Or at least come up with something better than “John Carter.”

Agreed. The scene where she was in the theater watching her own movie broke my heart.
