Between the excessive decibels and the potential for crowds to get out of hand....why are people bringing BABIES to baseball games?? They’re too young to appreciate/remember it and young enough to get injured/hearing damage

How in the world do you reverse an ump’s call that play has stopped? He’s waving his hands around saying everyone stop, and one player decides to run anyway, and then they review whether or not the ump was right to signal play to be dead, and reversed it?? That’s just awful officiating all around

There should be a reverse-version of this, for those of us who write emails that come across as too polite

it wasn’t his fault, though...you could tell the Mavericks and everyone else involved could see he was really troubled by his past, and it was all just crumbling on him at that point...If I remember right, they handled him as gently as they could, and let him go pretty quietly

Been trying to find a way to say this lately, and all I can come up with is:

Some people take the view that it is almost always better to pay a little extra, just so you have the ability to cut your losses and walk away if needed. You get into these loans or credit card purchases or mortgages, and you’re at the very least on the hook for a significant amount of time. That in and of itself

Now playing

I don’t know why, exactly...but Costas gets an all-time pass from me because of this call alone. Ever since this, I have nothing but love for him:

If I was there and he said some crap like “for instance, I could fondle a receiver” and points to the phone, I would’ve REALLY wanted to slam that receiver right on his forehead. I had to stop the video right then and there

Caron hides Crittenton’s gun in the locker room.

Was JUST about to say the same thing. If you’re hurt so bad that the face-degloving isn’t the worst injury, there’s no coming back from that, right? :(

Ummmmmm

Was just about to say this

This isn’t exactly what you guys are talking about, but when I was a kid, my dad ran a cleaning business and he’d clean offices after hours. Of course, he made me go to work with him, desperately trying to teach me character building things (poor guy), and I would DOG all the snacks that people had on their desks.

tl;dr - Probably.

“Ask anyone around here, ‘do we let people come in with open containers of beer?’”

I hope his parents see this and flash back to those times in Costco when he’d throw a fit until they caved and bought him that box of mac and cheese

you make a strong point, here...i must admit. Will seriously consider taking this advice my friend.

Am I the only one who figured multiple DraftKings scandals were inevitable, right after hearing their first commercial?
