Do you genuinely believe that the people who installed separate plumbing and water fountains were less obsessed with race?

They were harassed but ‘near catastrophic’ is really stretching it.

The language was manipulative. If you think Harry and “near catastrophic car chase”, people are automatically think of his mother and how she died. The statement was designed to be emotive. If he’d said they had been harassed for 2 hours while trying to get home and didn’t want to the press to know where they were

The wording they used in that statement they released did suggest a ‘car chase’.

They never said they are in a high speed chase for two hours. They said they were relentlessly pursued. Still, why released a statement at all? It just seems so high drama and thirsty.

This. We HAVE to stop enagaging with the GOP extremists as though they are making good faith arguments and just exercising their rights, totally within the rules, and assuming that the extremists will say their piece and then if they lose on substantive grounds, they’ll just accept that and go away. That. Is. Not.

There is absolutely no basis in the law for any decision invalidating the FDA approval. These plaintiffs do not have standing. The FDA’s approval was fully within its statutory authority and complied with all legal obligations.

1. Rebecca’s defense of Jack is in character for Rebecca. They has often excused/dismissed/ignored other’s abusive emotional behavior, including their own. Making excuses for bad behavior is a common theme in Rebecca’s life. That is Rebecca’s flaw.

This fucking asshole owes this “comeback” to the woman, 21 years his junior, he abused, tortured, and bullied for years.

Keep in mind that this is what the capitalist/wealthy class like to do: they create narratives that ultimately benefit them. “You must work 40+ hrs a week!” “You must sacrifice your well being with the false hope of moving up in the world!” “You must sacrifice everything dear to you to make us richer!”, basically

Generally anyone who takes more than they need should not have any opinion on ethics/morality, as abolishing that sense is what’s needed for this amount of wealth.

....all of whom deserve privacy and love as we work through this process.”

This is what I’m talking about when I say they don’t deserve an iota of privacy. Oh, so YOUR family is going through “something” and deserves privacy to work thru it, but forget about privacy for the families who lost loved ones to gun violence

Boebart gives me Palin vibes, all kinds of Palin vibes.  I wonder if Boebart can see Russia from her porch.

He doesn’t spend time with his kids, why should you?

Wait, wait, wait. You’re telling me that a billionaire, who can afford to buy and pay for absolutely anything his heart desires including the best childcare in the world, doesn’t see why working from home is beneficial to some of us? Is this the same guy who tweets constantly about plummeting birth rates and how the

Elon Musk makes billions of dollars a year working. Nearly no one else does. Is that morally wrong?

My WFH days are when I get the most work done. This week is one of my busiest weeks of the year, my boss told me to stay home so I can get more done. Trust your workers, Elon. If you can't trust them from home, either they have deeper issues, or you do.

This is what someone on the wrong side of 20 year office lease might say.

Even if RBG had resigned while Obama was still in office, McConnell would have found some way to lie and delay replacing her. When people make this argument, they neglect to mention the shit McConnell pulled to steal one seat.

Everyone needs to take note of this, whether you live in Ohio or not, because if Republicans control your state legislatures--now or in the future--they will be trying to enact this ASAP. They’re coming for your democracy, and I’m not being hyperbolic when I say that. They know they’re either in the minority or soon
