I didn’t know about it either but I guess that was the point, to raise them out of the spotlight. It sounds like they grew up there. I haven’t really heard of it as a vacation destination, except maybe for skiing in the winter. But I thought all the rich people ranches were in Montana or Wyoming.
The explanation makes more sense if you read the next paragraph... apparently the kid got poked with a needle and they had to wait in LA for test results after getting treatment, and that was at the same time that travel was shutting down. So sounds like maybe they were supposed to meet up in Idaho and she got delayed… Read more
I wanted to like this show but yeah season 3 really went off the rails and I stopped watching after they threw Rhonda off the roof and the next episode it was like nothing had happened. I love a good campy soap but the writing was just so all over the place that the show didn’t make *emotional* sense.
I really do wonder where all this Covid-19 fundraising is *actually* going. How much of it is going to overhead, or just... disappearing into the ether? It’s so easy for people to throw a few bucks at the problem with little to no oversight as to how the money ends up being spent. Relief charities are popping up like… Read more
I hope all future queens watch this episode and realize no one should ever do a ‘magical spray’ again! It’s kind of a cop out. And this is a challenge that you can have even more prepared than Snatch Game because there’s not much improv involved.
It’s valid to be concerned about the mental health/impact of spending a few weeks alone in your apartment. And sure, we probably need coping tools. I hope this also helps us have a little more empathy for the psychological impact of incarceration, and the mental health needs of that population.
This is how I shop for produce. I believe he’s misgendered in the doc but it’s never really addressed. He was apparently fine with getting his arm torn off by a tiger so I’m guessing he would not be tripping on it too much, basically said as much at the reunion: https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/2020/04/9681329/tiger-king-reunion-kelci-saff-saffery-ge… Read more
She’s misunderstanding many things, one of them the significance of the name Karen. It’s not supposed to be a particularly posh or upper class name. It’s supposed to be an utterly basic and unremarkable name that is more common among 50+ year olds. Carol could work too... Susan, Patricia, Debra, Nancy.. (okay now I am… Read more
I don’t get Delany. Is he actually a chef or just a foodie? He seems to have somehow gotten the most plum gig and just goes around eating at different restaurants. I haven’t seen any videos of him actually cooking.
I’m late to the BA Test Kitchen game but since I’ve been relegated to ‘working from home’ I have been binging it in the past couple weeks. I don’t know why, it’s so addicting! My husband thinks I’m a real weirdo so here go all the thoughts I didn’t have anywhere else to download. Read more
Oh phew. Well that’s really a whole ass thing then.
