Because cable news is the pro wrestling of journalism.  I’m more concerned that the DNC bothered with her by allowing her on the debate stage.

It would be so great if she did not also have some, shall we say, questionable views about science and medicine.

If U.S. companies didn’t have to spend $1.2 trillion annually on healthcare, even if that entire amount is deductible, they wouldn’t. Otherwise companies like Walmart wouldn’t have threatened to reduce hours when the ACA was being passed in order to get out of paying for healthcare for employees working 30 hours a

U.S. companies spend north of 1 trillion per year on healthcare, and if the tax benefits were so great they wouldn’t be steering employees towards low premium/high deductible plans that pass more of the cost onto the employee.

I deleted the tweets because I realize I did not adequately make my point.

I find it hard to believe that most businesses, big and small, wouldn’t love to be able to completely cut out the administrative cost of having to deal with employer sponsored health care.

I’m taking the cash, and hopefully its the full $125.  As much of a bullshit settlement as this is I just can’t see myself hiring a lawyer down the road to sue them personally.  That being said...the company should have their charter revoked and their assets liquidated.

1. And the GOP held on to the House in the midterms, Clinton was considered so toxic his VP didn’t want him campaigning with him, and then Bush got elected.

How the public feels about it is irrelevant. The House has a constitutional duty to do this, and if they don’t they set a very dangerous precedent for all future Presidents.  That they can do whatever they want. Plus an impeachment inquiry will very likely dig up much more dirt...then hopefully support increases. And

Not being convicted in the Senate doesn’t “clear him of charges”, not does it mean he isn’t guilty. Its a political process, and even without a Senate conviction he becomes stained by being an impeached President just like Clinton was. There is a reason that just about every Dem candidate has called for an impeachment

Pelosi is living in an establishment democratic bubble where reaching across the aisle and passing bills that either die in the Senate or on Trump’s desk, and making meaningless statements about why the president is bad, is better than checking a criminal, racist, incompetent, corrupt administration.

I think you’re missing my point...

Trump could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody and Pelosi wouldn’t open an impeachment inquiry.

That was a bad answer and this is a bad take.  Tucker Carlson isn’t asking the question in bad faith as a way to discriminate against Muslims.  This is a Muslim activist asking for help from a powerful Muslim lawmaker at a Muslim conference to help a Muslim community where the problem exists.

If only we had a branch of government that had the power of oversight, and the balls to do something about this...

it’s unclear whether Paul will actually meet with Zarif

Look up at the ceiling...you’ll see the point I’m making flying directly over your head. You should work on your reading and comprehension skills before commenting again.

Mount Thurmond?

Oh I’m sorry. You thought I was arguing with you when in actuality I was just being dismissive of your red herring. I’ll try harder next time.

Exactly...and what defines hard work? Does it need to be physically demanding, or does that just mean you work long hours? If I’m able to do my job in half the time someone else can, does my efficiency mean I’m not working hard?
