If the prospect of not one but two statewide recounts in Florida—fucking Florida!—doesn’t make you want to jump in front of a bus, congratulations, you’re a stronger person than I am.

Well I guess since we’re trading voting records I voted for Bernie in the primary and HRC in the general. What does that have anything to do with Bernie having an awful take on the FL election?
The team’s TV deal, Rosenthal reported, is in its last guaranteed year, and the Sox “expect to enter into a joint venture with the Bulls and Blackhawks.”
You had me until you started talking about abolishing the Senate...oh wait, wrong article.
I’m not assuming anything. I’m going by exactly what Bernie said, which was that they didn’t vote for Gillum because he was black. It was the first time because they had never been presented with the choice before now because fact: Gillum was the first ever democratic African American nominee.
The longstanding argument against this—that it would increase partisanship on a supposedly independent judiciary—has been exposed as clear bullshit by the events of the last couple of months.
“I think you know there are a lot of white folks out there who are not necessarily racist who felt uncomfortable for the first time in their lives about whether or not they wanted to vote for an African-American,”
Bad take by Bernie, but it does raise some interesting questions:
He’s dead to rights correct in what he said. There are probably a lot of non racists that didn’t want to see Gillum, a progressive and out loud socialist who also happens to be African-American, in office. They were turned off primarily by his ideas because they didn’t understand them. That doesn’t make them…
Yeah I don’t think i’m too worried.
You aren’t actually going to make me defend Tucker Carlson are you? UGH.
He doesn’t have to be a hero to care about his work, but if you think he’s the equivalent of a P.I. who could care less you haven’t been paying attention.
Because this is splinter...WHERE THE TRUTH HURTS!
So did you stop reading once you got to that part of the article? There’s the IG too.
The DOJ is a member of the executive branch and it’s “independence” exists only to the degree the AG of the moment allows.
I mean he plays 12-D chess...what did you expect?
The Attorney General of the United States is the executive legal authority of the United States answerable only to the President.
No...he literally told a reporter he had a plan to stop abortions. They don’t have the “secret” part of the quote, but I listened to the answer live and he said “its a secret”.
Why? Because he’s not a partisan and firing Session could be obstruction of justice.
