Who do you mean by we? I’m saying if progressives want to go after moderates fine, but lets have that discussion when the most immediate, dire threat to the country is gone.

There are two separate fights in this country that aren’t mutually exclusive. The fight being fought by what you describe and the small “r” resistance for actual progressive causes, and the #Resistance. If a bunch of rich, “moderates” want to spend a lot of money fighting what Trump is doing then by all means let them…
I’m with you on the first paragraph, I think you are a little too optimistic about the blue tsunami, and I stopped reading at Louise Mensch. She’s the Alex Jones of the resistance. Nothing but conspiracy theories and tinfoil hats. We’d be much better off if everyone just followed actual journalists instead.
Are we sure a majority of owners are concerned with the bottom line? They didn’t actually vote, you’ve got one owner who abstained from whatever they did, another owner who is offering to pay the fines, they had to have known this would cause issues with the union, and most importantly nobody was talking about this…
Yeah the Jets and 49ers owners didn’t “vote” either, and I wonder if some others didn’t and we just don’t know yet. 32 just sounded better than 20ish to 30ish.
I’m not saying they’re worried about going under either, but I also don’t buy that the ratings decline has anything to do with the protests. I’m also positive that the analytics guys at NFL know this, but the owners aren’t listening. Its not that I have any proof...I just don’t believe for one second that any NFL fans…
Maybe, but none of those owners are worried they’re going to have to sell their house because a few players kneeled. Even with those big business owners often times its the perception that the business is hurt even if its not really affecting the bottom line. They aren’t in control, and they don’t like it. That’s why…
I’m starting to think this is more about control for the owners than anything else. The players are there to play, and anything beyond that the owners take as insult. Its their team, their league, etc.
The owners were certainly worried about their bottom lines
I wonder if he’s landed in Zihuatanejo yet...
“Hey guys...let’s take this very minor PR issue, and turn it into a giant public battle with the player’s union!”
He should be jailed, right?
And how many sub-machine gun deaths have their been since they were banned?
Put the keyboard away before you embarrass yourself any further.
There is really only one way to drain the swamp. A constitutional amendment mandating publicly funded federal elections. Anything else is just lipstick on a pig.
Reminder: the group most responsible for preventing any gun law reform whatsoever has a convicted felon for a president, and there’s evidence suggesting they were funneling Russian money to the Trump campaign...
1. There seems to be a direct correlation between the loudest gun rights nuts and their lack of respect for firearms and firearm safety.
The Trump family would make the perfect bad guys for the next season of Fargo.
That’s just splitting hairs with semantics. If you are colluding with a foreign government to influence an election you are probably violating all kinds of laws that don’t specifically have the word collusion in the statute.
The president stepping down isn’t enough. Anyone in a position of leadership, including the entire board of trustees, should no longer be there.
