It’s very clean, and well maintained. But it’s extremely overpriced.

This week’s theme; Nice Dice. Nice cars for too much money.

By the way, I believe that the Fox Body Mustang and its SN95 offspring are the only ones in the model’s history to wear the Ford Blue Oval badge. All prior versions used the FORD block letter badge and every one since (including the electric five-door Mustang-in-name-only) has used Mustang badging solely.

ND - that paint is actual trash - even if it wasn’t, this ain’t worth much more than half of that ask.  Would be a good parts car though - probably worth more in parts than whole anyway.

Author’s clearly didn't read the request lol

A fellow came into my yard recently saying our $29888 Camry with $ 9888 on the windscreen should be sold to him for that. The prick wouldn’t shut up, “I’m an accountant” he declares, clearly someone had removed the 2. In the end had to tell him to eat a bag of dicks and piss off.

I still think the Panamera is ugly as sin, but at $18,000 I’ve got to admit it looks a bit less ugly.

Bingo. Moreover the same $20k will get you a newer used Toyota or Honda than it would a used luxury brand. In a “year or so” you’ll likely even be able to sell it for pretty much what you paid for it if this crazy market keeps up, and will have likely spent zero on repairs other than wear items like tires and wiper

No kidding. This seems like a list of things not to buy.

You can TASTE the contempt. I love it.

Hmm, this concept of offering what someone deserves instead of what they requested intrigues me. If he rejects a Lexus because it’s just a fancy Toyota and he can’t stand the idea of his family and their au pair sitting in something that close to being common, then I would fully agree that he deserves something that

Prestige brand SUV and Jersey already has me in snark mode. My personal recommendation would be the nicest possible Mazda5 but that’s neither prestige nor SUV. More seriously a used Lexus RX is the best balance of badge “luxury” and running costs. Or possibly an equivalent Acura. Either one gives you some fanciness

I might as well have stopped reading after the Lexus. John should have put unreliable and wallet-eater on his ‘must have’ list in order to fully qualify the Merc and Porsche.

I just tried to look up Super Beetle prices on cars.com and almost choked on my coffee.

And the added bonus of hail damage! It’s barely February and we’ve got what may be the biggest ND of the year.

Not really “bleeding edge” anymore, they’re proven at this point, just a matter of if the mixture of upsides versus downsides works for you, maybe it doesn’t but increasingly it does for many.

Exihibit #1 as to why MG went bankrupt

ND because it’s not going to be drivable (unless you have a private track or whatever) and being a test rig all that equipment in the boot went to random sensors drilled into parts that are going to need to be overnighted from Japan England.

I think it’s more like a negative element of the car they’re making you aware of. Like if it had been involved in a flood at a pig urine factory or something.

Because for a vast majority of the population, THEY ARE GOOD ENOUGH. Toyota is banking on people realizing this and since they already know how to make hybrids really well, they are just biding their time rather than spending ungodly amounts of money on the latest hot thing to grab simple minded shareholder’s and
