Aren’t you supposed to *drop* a TuRD, not lift one?
They should have chosen “Toyota Racing Technology” instead. TRD never fails to make me think “turd”
My first thought it is should be advertised by Hans and Franz
Pretty sad. I’m sure what was once a very comfortable ride is now like a Radio Flyer wagon. ND
It might be correct for all the speed this one can muster. Oh and, “...pick up street tacos...”; not going to check urban dictionary.
You want to point to a type of car that needs to die now, it’s passenger diesels. No civilian has a need for a car that spreads soot like diesels do—at least ICEmobiles’ exhaust can be decently cleaned up—we ain’t talking about one of Benz’s pee-squirting BlueTEC diesels here. Why did they do that to the suspension? Why, God, why?!
“The mileage is shown as 75,798, however, the car has a five-barrel odometer so perhaps that’s gone ‘round the horn at least once.”
As recently as 2020 you could lease one of these for under $150/month, and buy a used 2018 for $12k or less. I almost did just to drive to work, but then I stopped having to drive to work. The range is too low for $20k, ND for me.

y’know, 30 minutes ago I may’ve said NP.. but after reading the article about how I can get a new ‘23 hybrid Corolla with zero miles (and a warranty!) for less that $2k more than this 4-year-old Hyundai with 69k miles? CP, all day long.
I thought the same regarding Astro vans.
I’ve long thought you produced the best writing on this site, but your use of the British art of the understatement paired with a British car is brilliant.
Nice truck, too expensive. ND
In other news, car windows without an automatic reversal feature are well within their current rights to fuck you up.
I am going to teach the kids how to drive stick on a 1st gen Viper. I am still working on obtaining that Viper though.
LOL.
Headlights tell me all I need to know...
Not my cup of tea either, but the price is definitely right.
