Yeah, but Iron Fist’s biggest problem, accusations of whitewashing aside, is that it’s kind of boring (see also: Iron Fist the comic book character). It’s not “so bad you’ll love it” so much as “so tepid you’ll have trouble staying awake.”

Also, Perlmutter has no control over Marvel Studios, which is siloed off from the larger Marvel organization (comics and television) and under Kevin Feige’s control.
