There are plenty of voice recording apps in the Android market, and they range in price and quality from simple one-touch voice recorders to feature-rich dictation tools. If you're lucky, your Android device may have a voice recording app pre-installed. If you're looking for one however, we think Tape-a-Talk is the

Does anyone know of a way to do this for Chrome? And/Or for Android devices? I'm wanting to switch to Chrome but would really hate to loose my extensive browsing history. Shelve is working well enough currently in Firefox at least. (And I tried to port it to Firefox portable without success, though I really didn't

Ah, found it. Perhaps I missed some notice that links to normal views would no longer be provided... [lifehacker.com]

(promoting comment, thumbs up still broken)

I shared a link to this page, only to realize that most people won't understand. It took me a bit to figure out where the other wallpapers were, and I knew what to expect. What's the rationale behind doing the gallery layout ala Tips Box but not offering the alternative view? I never understood the benefit of the

@mrsilver: I was about to do that (just had to electronically sign the contract) when I discovered that the installation fee was going to be $50 and the default service term 36 months. That wasn't going to work, as I'll be moving in a few months (and don't want to get stuck with Comcast). The shortest term they'd

@letsdropthehammer: If you're serious about keeping a nice browsing history, try the Shelve Firefox addon. Its like saving the full page for every page you visit automatically (if you configure it to do so). But if you system isn't speedy enough, you will notice a slight performance hit.

Faster start up time can be nice, but I assume that most people care more about performance issues while browsing. Personally, I could care less if an essential addon adds 2 minutes to the start up time. But if it consistently slows down page loads by just a fraction of a second or frequently leads to hangs...

@ae2: Exactly my question and total number. 2 (6 counting spares).
