Um, incorrect. Comic Book Guy got married to Kimiko, their first meeting happened to be in the Android’s Dungeon, when she is doing research for her sad manga. Thank you.

That’s bad. There’s also The Fray from the 2012 NCAA basketball title game.

A few weeks ago, a talented, some might even say genius, writer for this very publication”

The biggest indicator I would say that he was within the legal bounds of “not outwardly promoting it” is the fact that (as far as I can see) nobody’s bringing it up. You can’t tell me that if SAG members thought Pete Davidson was shilling out during the strike, that they wouldn’t have lost their mind and we would be

I’ll admit, I can’t speak for what the SAG folks say, but considering it was referenced as a joke, I wouldn’t count that as promoting, because it wasn’t referenced as “Hey, go watch my show!” With regards to the Bupkis commercial, it’s a Peacock original, so it makes sense for NBC to promote it when the star is on

Did he? I’ll admit, I didn’t watch every single skit, but from what I saw, the only thing I saw referencing Bupkis was in the “I’m Just Pete” where there’s multiple jabs about it not getting big numbers. I wouldn’t call that promoting, but that may just be semantics.

I can’t say “This is exactly how it is”, but my guess is Bargatze has a style (he’s a fairly clean comedian, can’t say I’ve seen every joke he’s done, but what I have is clean) that he wants to keep, and so he’s less inclined to star in movies, especially ones that may be raunchier. He wants to keep that clean image,

My guess is that, for larger cities where the tour actually stopped, shows may be sparsely attended. I’m in a town where the closest show was four hours away, and looking from the local theatre’s website, they were selling out most screenings. There’s also the likely probability that (as others have noted) you were at

It’s manufactured content.”

I’m very disappointed that the show is cancelled (I’m guessing the copy you received wasn’t the one that aired, with no mention of the epilogue that gave “We’re done” vibes) but it is what it is. HBO is under the rule of an idiot who wants to slash and burn, and doesn’t realize that the destruction he wrought may be

Take your star and leave.

I need another opinion on this, as I’ll admit I’m not familiar with Ice Spice.

I think this series trying to jump to the first Lakers-Celtics matchup, while making sense from a story point of view (as that’s what people want) hurt this season a bit. There’s a lot of spots that felt rushed (this episode in particular) and so it felt a bit clunky.

Swen was also the first NBA first round pick to play in the NCAA without ever starting a college game. Those things happen when the other center on the roster is a giant redhead Dead fan.

I’ve gotta say, if they do the 1984 NBA Finals and don’t feature the infamous clothesline of Rambis by McHale, I’m gonna be disappointed.

As someone who is reading the books for the first time (currently on The Shadow Rising), does the TV series follow the books fairly faithfully or is it not worth trying to compare the two.

I appreciate that you thought it was Duke that knocked them out, but it was the eventual 1990 NCAA Tournament champions UNLV, led by Jerry “The Shark” Tarkanian.

I think things will work out for ol’ Paul Westhead. In fact, I predict by 1990, he’ll have led a largely unknown school to three straight NCAA Tournament appearances using the System, the last of which results in a Cinderella run to the Elite Eight after seeing one of their best players tragically pass away from a

I’m surprised to find out Red Auerbach didn’t get a significant amount of votes for mayor. Boston loved them some Red, and frankly the coach didn’t matter to the fans during that time because it was still Red running the show.

The more I watch this, the more I am intrigued by a complementary series on the Celtics during this time. Sean Patrick Small as Larry Bird is so fun to watch, and I find myself wanting to explore more time with that character.
