Yup, I don’t own the street right in front of my house, you are correct. And last winter when a handful of kids in dark colored clothes were standing at the blind corner on my street after dark, and I almost hit one while going well under the speed limit and paying attention, it would have been a great comfort to

If there is one thing that these comment sections have proved to me over the years it’s that you’re overestimating the average lifehacker reader.

Good info, but I’m so sick of people intentionally overthinking this scene.

A lot of people following you around ‘shoving it in your face,’ or do you mean there are some decorations in the stores and commercials on TV? Because, if it’s the latter I think it may not actually be affecting you as much as you are affecting you.

It may not be very Christmassy, but everyone who thinks I decorate too early can feel free to eat me. I enjoy it, it costs you nothing, and Christmas is good times, at least for me (I realize it isn’t everyone’s favorite). I need no more explanation than that.

it’s overly telegraphed schmaltz

Good article, but as someone who is dealing with estrangement

Two quick thoughts:

Pretty sure OSHA just put it in the job requirements for me thank god.

Better yet, put it on your resume if you aren’t vaccinated. We can save both of us twenty minutes of me pretending you don’t disgust me while wanting you out of my office so I can Lysol.

So the advice here is:

Dialectical differences are not ‘wrong,’ ways of pronouncing words.

Meh, that isn’t how it reads to me, but I see how you got there.

I used to live by a gay bar that hired all of the bartenders as ‘models,’ because the rules were different for performers, then one of the expectations of the ‘models,’ was to serve drinks.

This one is super easy. Don’t give your dog F’ing Halloween candy. If you are one of those people who just must give into the guilt trips of good bois, go get some actual dog treats or google the 500 other random foods you have around your house that are fine. Carrots have been pretty successful around our house.

I think lifehacker needs to have a staff meeting and decide what your shower strategy is. You have articles saying to always wash your feet, articles saying you basically just need to wash your armpits and the swimsuit region, articles on how bad it is to use soap various places (I believe the last instalment was the

I’m not really sure who your issue is with based on your phrasing, but you realize they picked the research not me right? That was the study they linked to make their point. A study on exercise in cold weather. I didn’t pick anything . . .

The notifications panel on lifehacker does not show enough detail. It only showed me the first sentence of your comment and I came here to tell you it was nuts to let that impact whether or not you got vaccinated, but it sounds like that was exactly your point.

Sorry, misread your post. Deleted.

Yeah no. One study on serious exercise in the cold that didn’t even show a depressed immune system or an increase in infection rates, but showed a slight change in markers related to the immune system is not nearly enough to call it a ‘myth, that is actually true.’
