I hate how hazards have just become the car version of people throwing their hands up in the air.

1. Make money dependant on getting help.

I tend to think, “is this something I would want to do if it were a groupon or being offered at the local community center, and not my friend/coworker/significant other asking?” It helps weed out behaviors you are doing because you want to be thought of as that person rather than just being the person you actually are.

Easy answer here. “Whatever they are willing to take.” More for special circumstances or if you feel they are somehow earning more or more qualified you can adjust, but this is typically a knock-it-out cash transaction.

Fair enough, but usually they won’t even let you register something that they don’t perceive as a possible address. I’ve had them fight me on a work address I had because it was a sort of “non standard,” domain.

I inputted an incorrect recovery email address, I missed 2 digits off my email.

It’s different if you are trying to figure something out on behalf of someone, like a child or someone else you are responsible for the care of, but for me I haven’t used a thermometer in maybe 15 years?

Haha, campus related to a college, but I’m talking 99% about other 35-50 year-olds I spend the most time with. If I included students, I think I’d put it at more like 40% +

I take it you’ve got some specific kind if evidence for that? I’ll gladly spin on a dime on this if you’ve got something in the way of proof for any of that, but a cracked screen protector is like a cracked helmet. It’s absolute proof that at least some energy was absorbed by the protective device. Like I said, would

All the stuff about how tough each kind of glass is, and how they don’t really break very easily anymore would be much more convincing if every third phone on my campus didn’t have a crack in it.

I’m a big fan of Alton Brown’s version.”

These things are supposed to be moved all over? Hmmm . . . the things we non-parents gleefully avoid, er um sadly miss out on.

You . . . are incorrect.

I feel like if you refuse to use they/their/them for a single individual, then you have to go back to making sure you use the thou (singular second person) vs you (plural second person) distinction, when you are talking to one person vs a group.

The people who write bills like this aren’t interested in science or medicine.

Meh, fair enough. If you guys thought that was honestly something over which there was widespread confusion . . .
