I exercise at the community pool here, and I typically don’t care what people wear, or what rules they choose to follow. That being said, it’s a massive pet peeve of mine when people either don’t shower before getting in, wear items that are undoubtedly gross like socks/shoes, or let toddlers run around in

Hey hey now . . . woah . . . let’s be clear, they care very much about both.

I 100% believe that she would have gotten more traction with the police if her daughter had been white, but in high school, I had a female-white friend who took off and this is exactly the reponse her parents got, almost word for word.

Just thought I’d mention, lots of breeds aren’t cooler when you shave them. They don’t sweat like humans, and breeds like newfoundlands, malamutes, and others with a thick undercoat use their fur to regulate their temperature. Not to mention, you can end up with issues where the top coat and the undercoat can’t grow

I’m the exact opposite of this. Babies sort of freak me out, don’t want them, not having them. I’ve felt massively uncomfortable the handful of times in my life when I was forced to move or pick up or stop the hand of a child because there was a safety issue. The specific time I’m thinking of, a neighbor’s kid was

True, but ultimately they were sort of all relieved of their command.

It’s interesting how the people who are so dedicated to “preserving history,” are always the ones who are so interested in whitewashing the confederate atrocities.

It seems like, at least from this comments section, I was the only one who didn’t see it coming with Chris Hardwick, but I honestly didn’t.

It works for a lot of different things too. I plan on repeating it to all my friends who aren’t concerned about the midterm elections.

We need a Waze style app for this.

I don’t know about that. According to the lastest Dungeons and Dragons manual. Black males have a starting bonus of +3 to strength, and a berserker bonus during combat.

What they refuse to realize—or, sometimes, pretend to refuse to realize—is that privilege is mostly about hindrance, and lack thereof.

Descendants of undocumented immigrants. Not nearly as pithy as yours, but I’m sure it will break the brains of the average white person.

“Law-abiding ____”

Woah, hey now, hold on a minute. Let’s not paint my inlaws with two broad of a brush. Lots of times my father in law means “hispanic,” when he says those things.

For some reason, it’s killing me that most of the people who are totally on board with this are white. Just goes to show how different the world is for us. If you’re white, the cops showing up can actually be sort of funny, instead of a near death experience.

We used to have kids, mostly black and latinx, come by my old place selling candy bars all the time. It was crazy annoying, and I’m sure they weren’t supposed to be doing it, but you know what I never did? Bust out the phone, and call the police.

Came here to watch the plastic vs anti-plastic flame war . . . so far everyone is letting me down.

Ghee

Also, call a few pharmacies and shop around. I went without insurance for about 6 months, and at the time I was taking a prescription that didn’t have a generic, so the pharmacy cost me about half of what my rent was.
