Guess I’m going to be the weirdo who promotes the Fisher Space Pen. Dont let the apocryphal story about NASA and the Russians put you off, Fisher really did come up with a great pen.

I probably overdo it with people who have a skilled trade. There’s something great about turning work into art, but I don’t begrudge you the number you’ve picked. It’s just not the number I like.

A totally valid opinion. My thoughts are that with their education and skill level, they deserve to make more than whatever their portion is of my 25-40 bucks minus chair fee.

I don’t know, I suppose if I didn’t know the guy, and he just burst through the door doing it, but if we’re friends I’d probably leave the law out of it

Haha, you’re the opposite of me.

Steer into the skid my friend. Trying to hold on to too much hair is the fastest way to seem super bald.

I think minimum on that, assuming they weren’t rude or destroyed your hair, would be something like five bucks, but I tend to do fifty to one hundred percent if the stylist is great, because I’m male, and I know (or at least I imagine) I’m not quite as profitable as my wife for instance, and I’m sure I feel more like

I’m never rude to a stylist, but I’m honestly not a talker in person, and if a stylist picks up on that, they’re going to have repeat business and a huge tip.

Haha, true. Though, I’m worried that the status it’s signaling is that of a guy who failed high school chemistry.

Whenever someone uses the word “sheeple,” I know they are exactly like all the other people who use the word sheeple. It’s like they’re all . . . wait a minute . . . hey, I get it now, you know that’s pretty clever!

About a decade ago, I was suffering from a chronic condition. After seeing a half dozen specialists or so, and trying twice that many treatments, I got with a doctor who recommended a combination of two different medications and a couple of vitamins along with two other supplements. I can say without a hint of

When it comes to focus anything, use it or lose it.

It’s been a few years since Buffy, but I’d go with any of the first few Spike appearances. His first is School Hard S02 x E03. It’s the parents trapped and about to be murdered at the school, which for Buffy really says it all, life or death struggles . . . also high school.

Right? and Blink is in my top five Doctor Who episodes for sure, but as an entry point to Doctor Who? The Doctor has like three minutes of screen time. It doesn’t take anything away from the episode, but for getting someone to get the gist of the show and see what it’s all about and if they want to continue watching,

For The New Doctor Who, I’m going to go with “The Girl in the Fireplace” S02 x E04.

You’re braver than I. I love that show, one of my all time favorites, but I ended up watching it by chance while working on other stuff (I was out of internet range, and it happened to be the only thing stored on my friend’s plex that looked even broadly watchable), and if I hadn’t been almost a season in before I

Yeah, I’d only recommend TOS to someone who was either already a Trek fan, as in “nah, it really holds up pretty well,” or someone with a really specific kind of taste.

I feel like a lot of people are picking “fan favorites,” more than “good entry points.”

That’s funny, this was my introduction into the series and I almost didn’t keep watching because of it.

Hmmm, I know with new words it’s called the “Frequency Illusion,” I don’t know if TV would be the same though since it’s a byproduct of freaking strip programming during syndication, and not just in your head.
