When I lived in LA, I noticed that the Jenny Craig ads’ ‘before’ in LA looked like their ‘after’ everywhere else.

People who looked perfectly FINE all wanted to lose 30 lbs. in LA.

Or, rather, not ‘people’ - ‘women’. It’s always women who need to lose weight. Can’t have us being big and strong or anything like that.

The season pass isn’t just for the episodes, though. We got live events, with appearances from some of the filmmakers (the makers of ‘Demon Squad’ were a lot of fun) and 13 shorts, and old episodes with new content every month.

But even though I paid to the KS, I’m happy the episodes are now on Pluto TV. The more

So I’d have have a data plan on my phone (which I would have to pay extra for) in order to power my car?

No thanks.

Not to mention that not everyone has a cell phone. No, seriously, not everyone does.

Ah, Barbara Stanwyck. Her film roles went from ‘unconventional woman’ to ‘unconventional woman who learns the value of being conventual’.

Still a great actress, but her pre-code work is definitely more interesting than her in-code work.

Or one’s entire outlook on life.

We all react to things differently - what’s unbearable to one person is bearable to someone else.

I’m not your wife, but I really like the new QL, and I was pissed when I couldn’t watch episode 12.

No, Peacock, I am not gonna pay you to watch a broadcast show. That would be stupid.

Columbo is available for free on Tubi

Yeah, they added a bit more since I posted, but it’s still kind of skimpy.

Seriously, the most romantic gesture in ANY movie is in The African Queen when Bogey asks the German captain to marry him and Katherine Hepburn before they’re hanged as spies.

That’s. . .a mighty short obituary for someone who had that long of a career.

And those Taster’s Choice commercials.

I make a similar argument to playing the lottery. Just give half of what you’d spend on the lottery to your local school, and keep the rest, and all of you will be better off.

There was an episode of ‘Cagney and Lacey’ where Cagney talked Lacey into lying to cover a mistake Cagney made.

But then they both got off because they’re ‘good cops’.

It’s always copaganda, even on the pretty good shows.

People who think insult = argument hardly are qualified to define ‘adult brain’.

Sheesh.

And yet, Yohoho Puzzle Pirates is still going, somehow.

‘Lacking mature perspectives’?

Haven’t seen either Black Panther movie, have you?

Every Greek person I ever met has pronounced ‘gyro’ as ‘hee-ro’ only with a hard ‘h’. Maybe that’s spelled ‘khee-ro’ - I dunno.

You can be as obviously satirical as you like, and there will always be at least one dingbat who doesn’t get the joke.

Check out the ‘On Demand’ section. There’s a lot more stuff there.

For classic TV, the best bets are Tubi and PlutoTV, hands down.
