Yeah, ‘I’m such an idiot I’d let my six-year-old operate a gun’ tells us all we need to know about how much YOU know about guns.
So stop trying to lecture the rest of us, ‘K?

The fact that you think guns are ‘simple’ tells me you don’t know a goddamn thing about guns.
My problem with non-gendered awards is that women are already undervalued in Hollywood, while having to work harder. Women actors spend most of their time emoting, while men spend it running around and blowing up stuff.
I really don’t want the preponderance of awards going to guys blowing up stuff.
The charges were motivated by the gleeful hope of getting famous because of a celebrity’s involvement in a violent death.
IFIFY.
How many times do you have to be told that it’s against union rules for an actor to tamper with or open a gun on a movie set? Because you REALLY don’t want to have that nightmare, especially on a Western set where dozens of actors will be handling weapons.
That’s why they have armorers on the set in the first place -…
Absolutely not. It’s SAG rules that the armorer and ONLY the armorer is responsible for the safety of all weapons used on set. This is to prevent the nightmare of dozens (or more) actors tampering with the weapons on the set of a movie.
It’s for the ACTORS’ safety that they’re not allowed to ‘check’ the guns in use. Do…
Missing an opportunity there: John Terlesky, star of Deathstalker II, is a Hollywood director now (although mainly involved in television). He really should have been hired to direct the new movie.
He shouldn’t agree to ANYTHING Trump doesn’t agree to.
Period.
Seriously, dude, dude, dude. Do you ACTUALLY think Biden has more dementia than Trump? Dude? Seriously, dude?
Lyrics by Oscar winner Paul Francis Webster, who also wrote the lyrics to the *other* best TV show theme, Maverick.
Spider-man 2 is a wonderful movie, in part because it takes time for the hero to enjoy some cake and milk.
I was thinking about Ordinary People recently and how magnificent Sutherland and Timothy Hutton were in it. Not even to mention MTM (whose character is so much better developed in the movie than in the book, where she’s essentially a nasty black box of a character)
Those actors who can play practically anything are…
Dude. Just go look. They’ve really upped their classics selection in the past few months.
Then come back here and tell me you’re sorry. /jk
My first job, at age 15, I was told, ‘Oh, that’s just Cecil.’
So none of this surprises me in the least.
It’s got more ‘classic’ films in that you’ve heard of them and they are also classics.
Seriously. They have really upped their classic movie game in the past few months.
Yup.
It’s got a lot of stuff - from a B-movie bonanza to top rated classic films, to vintage and newer TV shows. It’s a good service, free or not.
Go watch ‘The Adventures of Robin Hood’, then a palate cleanser of ‘Demon Squad’. You can thank me later.
Looking at the pic before reading the article, I’m thinking, ‘So Velma is a dog now?’
Poor Velma. She never gets any respect.
It can’t possibly be more rapey than ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside.’
And, in the meantime, Tubi just keeps getting better and better. They’ve really upped their classic movie offerings in the past few months.
The only streaming I’m paying for right now is Starz, and that’s only because I got a $.99/month offer. I’ll be cancelling when that’s up.
Books generally ARE better than the movies made from them, but books are LONGER and generally experienced in chunks. I don’t have to sit and read an entire book at once - I can stop, eat, sleep, pee, whatever.
No one can sit in a theater for 14 hours while the film puts in every damn thing that’s in a book. That’s why…
