The article actually argues he might not have really believed that, which is how it seemed to me initially reading his wiki page after the crash. He had already launched once before the flat Earth stuff and that came after failed crowdfunding attempts so it's plausible he just said that to get other idiots to give him Read more

To be fair, from what I read on Wikipedia it seems like he was really just a rocket guy and then became a flat earther to get funding, so I’m not sure how much he really believed it. I also don't see why if you want to prove the earth is flat you would build a rocket to get you 2000' up instead of just flying Read more

From my experience it would have just become a loaner car for the service dept though, almost all of ours were Mazda 6's that we couldn’t sell (this was in Denver) but I’ve never heard of them going to auction like that. We used them as loaners and then sold them as CPO with 5-10k miles.

I don't feel like that would be it, I worked at a Mazda dealer and I think any used car less than 7 years old could be CPO barring like a salvage title or something. Either way I don't see why it would have gone to auction that early.

Been thinking of trying it too, how'd you make yours? How's it turn out?

Hmm I never had a problem with my mazda3 but you should also be able to upgrade to carplay.

Glad the 6 held up, Mazda really has done a great job with safety in their current gen cars. CX5s are great too, only thing I would say to watch out for on yours is the DRLs but there's a recall coming soon that should take of that.

We do stuff like that one job sites, every contractor has their own locks so this way anybody can open the gate with their own keys, we have just one key that opens all of our padlocks on boxes, equipment etc.

I love spykers, if I win the lottery I'm getting a preliator. Ferraris and lambos never really interested me, I respect McLarens and koenigseggs but if I was buying a supercar it'd be a spyker.

I definitely did that as a kid, my mom got rid of all my childhood Lego though so all I have now are newer sets I've bought as an adult.

I’ve used it, works pretty decent actually, I’m a terrible nail-biter so it's a lifesaver for me.

Afaik the crv never offered a v6, just the rav4. Could be wrong though.

Lots over the years, but the main one I still think about was a black ‘62 Fairlane 500 2 door. Not this one, it was stock and just needed too much work for me to handle, I would have been in way over my head.

These are on my list as well, I really want an f type but I'll probably never be able to afford it. Hopefully these drop low enough someday, I really like the later models though so it's tough.

Got them today (actually delivered yesterday but incompetent leasing lady took mail room key with her so I couldn’t get them), pretty sweet so far, thanks!

I had no idea there was a targa, but quite a good looking car, was tempted by one years ago but it was a basket case and I was just starting to get over my old Saab.

I do have the mini Cooper and vw bus sets if that helps, the smaller car sets just never really appealed to me but I usually can't afford the big ones 😑
