I can’t agree more, not that I could afford anything remotely luxury new so my vote doesn’t count. I have been looking at Panthers for a cheap DD though and while I like town cars a lot, I’m leaning towards a grand Marquis instead just for the cloth seats.

To be fair, I think a lot of the criticism of the Z is based on its price relative to the competition also, not that the 4runner is cheap by any means. An older analog sports car can still be fun in 2019, I think a lot of their point was just how incredibly expensive it is.
