I pre-ordered In Spades on CD — which I can only listen to in my car, not well thought out — and I've been streaming it since they're released it on Sub Pop. Greg Dulli can never die.

I'll be watching. I binged Season 1 and enjoyed it. Another John Wells gem. Like Shameless, but without the humor and money.

It must be Festivus because he's airing grievances.

I don't remember that at all.

Hector is so handsome, I always wondered why he was single. Now, I know.

And unlike in rom-coms where the douchey, altar-leaving boyfriend is someone the audience actively wants to see destroyed, Josh Chan is not that guy. Again, a cool way the show messes with tropes.

Hector and his mom. Yeah, that's no longer adorable. That borders on all sorts of wrong.
I need more Nathaniel. I love this show, so damn much. It's my therapy in our current hellscape.

I'm glad Nathaniel will be sticking around.

Garlic is the key to great guacamole.
Avocados. Cilantro. Salt. Lime juice. Mashed garlic. That's it.
You're welcome.

I dig Giovanni Ribisi — why does he get a bad rap? I think he's well cast.

I just canceled my Hulu subscription. But, thanks!

I'm fascinated by the subculture of these grifters. I want to know more about how they become involved in this trade. How these cons are named, etc, etc.
Also, some of these episodes have a very Ocean's 11 feel to them.

This. It's driving me crazy. Ribisi is older than me but the actors playing his grandparents are my parents' age.

As the daughter of NY Jews, I would agree. I've never related more to an hour of TV than I did last night.

I was just about to contradict you on his age, but then I went on the actor's IMDB page and he's been acting since 1979, so you may be right.

I think Nathaniel is Rebecca. He's the old NYC her. That's why he's so interesting. Rebecca came to West Covina to escape her old life but, this just goes to show, you can't escape your past. He's how she used to be.

You shut your mouth about Logan Echolls. LoVe forever.

See? And I'm so for this — I like Josh Chan as a character but not Rebecca's love interest. Greg challenged Rebecaa. Nathaniel could, too.

Also I cackled at "SoJu?" "So What?" "SoJu?" "Sieg Heil, Bitch."

I feel like WhiJo has taken on some of Greg's dry, sarcastic wit and I am all for it. Loved every line he uttered.
