I was hoping Apple would add wifi to the nano and shuffle for wireless syncing. Putting GPS in the nano would make it an even better little running buddy, especially if it was able to work with RunKeeper or one of the dozens of workout logging apps to record your route/speed/etc.

The penalty idea isn't very good. They should, instead, offer low interest loans to the companies who anticipate a shortage. Then the company can add additional staff, equipment, or afford to push back other projects until the issue is resolved.

An iPad, iPod touch, or iPhone can go directly to 1 AirPlay destination. So you can go straight from your iDevice to one set of speakers; if you want/need to play through multiple sets of speakers, you're stuck with a computer. (Hopefully this changes in the near future)

About the only anti-competitive thing Google could do is show information on the search results page rather than re-directing you to the source - which can be awesome (getting a restaurant's phone number without navigating through their awful website) or bad (restaurant reviews duplicated from an ad-supported site).
