I had a feeling I'd just end up putting them behind dark glass. There's a ceiling mount for the router though, which seems pretty neat. It's a shame no one (that I've been able to find) makes a modem or cable box that's not an eyesore.

Abrams M1 - since I'd only watch for the crashes, adding some explosions couldn't hurt. Plus plenty of space for advertising.

Any tips on hiding electronics? I would absolutely love to never see a router, NAS device, modem, cable box, etc. Since I rarely have to physically access them, I'd much rather have to dig them out of the wall or ceiling than look at them all day. Also, a fire & water resistant enclosure for a server and raid array

I bought a pair of sweatpants this spring that were double tagged. The visible one was removed at the check-out, but I found the other (inside the pocket) after I got home. I ended up getting it off with no mess, but the freezer tip is brilliant. Thanks LH.

You must not use LaTeX...

I got it from the post (especially loved the post-coitus remark), but some comments from the "whatever, I do what I want" smoker crowd seemed to take it a bit too seriously.

Why I would rather be an iPhone user than a smoker:

Good to know! I think it's about time for Apple to do a bit of an App store overhaul - better summary of ratings, bundle apps (iPad, iPhone, Mac) for discounted prices, and certainly offer trials. Trials could also offer useful feedback for developers (eg. "App is great, but I am not willing to pay $x for it; however,

I wish they'd revise the rating display so it'd show the average and then something histogram-like. The size or color of the stars could represent the rating count, percentages could be included inside the star, or clicking on the rating section would expand to include more details. It'd be nice to include an overall

I Purged my wallet a little over a year ago when it was wearing out and replaced it with a front pocket wallet (that I still put in my back pocket). My hips are much happier about the thickness and it has storage for my daily essentials (license, work ID, debit & credit cards). I keep all the occasional stuff (misc.

Tone, volume, etc. I've seen these breakdowns several times, all with different percentages, so take them with a grain of salt.

I like spookymonster's approach. Combined with not broadcasting your SSID.

That's without assembly labor, quality control, etc too.

We recently had a power outage that claimed the lives of 2 tv's, 1 modem, 2 routers, and 1 cable box. No amount of counting or breathing helped the frustration, but pounding a handfull of nails into a 2x4 was just what the doctor ordered.

Good to know about the 45 days. I've been trying to find the right person/bank to work with for mortgage pre-approval and haven't liked anyone so far; it's nice to know I'm not doing too much damage.

That's what I was looking for. Kinda surprising there aren't more around but I imagine companies are choosing to make tablets instead of phones-that-can't-call devices.

Just in case - chrome can run off a flash drive, I believe there's also a portable Firefox that'll do the same.

Are there iPod Touch equivalents that run Android or WP7?
