There was a point before Trump was taken seriously as a candidate where both Clinton and Sanders were up on him by something like 20 points. But by this stage in the race, Clinton was polling within the margin vs. Trump and essentially bounced around like that for the entire election.

Failing to openly defy the leadership certainly isn’t the same as actively supporting Pelosi’s stance on impeachment. Silence can mean anything. You certainly can’t put someone who hasn’t taken a position in either column.

Well, yeah. That’s the exact reason he’s been giving when asking Pelosi to let him move forward with an impeachment investigation. Now he’s just informed the court that his committee is investigating weather to impeach Trump. Something Pelosi kind of told him not to do.

I think if I’m wrong and there is some political fallout from this, do it the fuck now and move on.
