Honestly, it depends on why the change is being made. If it is to comply with Chinese content laws than it actually *is* government censorship.

If they’re making the change because the Chinese government won’t allow them to keep selling the game as it was originally designed, that is *literally* the definition of censorship. If that’s what is happening, they should be honest about it.
