Damn. Good analysis!

Trumka has pretty much sucked since the 80s ... can’t really expect him to stop now.
If Roberts and the UMWA believe that Trump or anyone else in the GOP will prioritize helping former miners land on their feet (with the help of a safety net) when the other shoe drops, they’ve got a rude awakening in store.
So ... single payer is kind of like a porn star ... who you bang when your wife isn’t looking ...
Would Wells Fargo be responsible for a meth lab explosion from a house they provided a mortgage on?
Uuuuuuugh .... mind bleach, please.
Are we talking about the same Joe Biden? He only ran in 1988 and then again in 2008. Unless I missed an entire election cycle somewhere?
If we have to have a Montana governor running, Brian Schweitzer would be way more fun.
Does being selected to contest the general election as VP, winning twice, and then serving two full terms *really* count as collapsing?
Wait ... the Starbucks billionaire dude? You can’t be serious. I guess that’s kind of the point though, nobody here is even making a serious argument. You’re all just spitting objectively stupid vitriol.
He is polling 76% favorability with Democrats ... and 80%+ in the last poll I saw that also included independents. His national favorability among all voters is in the mid-upper 50s.
You know what I did not do? I did not, for the four or five hours preceding lunch when I was thinking about going to Taco Bell but unsure yet, stand up periodically in front of different groups in the newsroom to talk about the many virtues of going to Taco Bell. I did not sit down with the social team and ask them…
Voters with Biden as a first choice were breaking Sanders, I think Warren was second. Harris did OK with Biden voters too. But equally important, voters with a first preference of Sanders are breaking Biden’s direction 3:1 over the next candidate.
Interesting. Of course ... Obama didn’t even declare his candidacy until May 2007.
Looks like a Washington driver.
This is almost always not the case. If the failure is to the extent that the airplane experiences complete loss of flight controls or breaks up, hitting the ground from 250 feet at 500 mph probably isn’t going to be much more survivable than from 2500 or 25000.
Counterpoint: all this quasi-functional jank-ass self driving AI should be kept the hell off of public roads until it is fully baked and doesn’t malfunction and kill people. Thanks.
Funny. I’ve explained why I didn’t think either of those movies were [Wonder Woman was] nearly as good as they could/should have been. I don’t think anyone has ever called me sexist for it.
I anxiously await an equivalent reaction to the recently announced Ghost Busters reboot. If it was *REALLY* about the fact that Ghostbusters didn’t need to be re-done ... doing *ANOTHER* Ghostbusters less than three years later should make the same people downright apoplectic. Right?
You know ... seeing the attitude explained succinctly and accurately like that ... it really makes people who ascribe to it seem like legitimate assholes.
