She spent decades pointedly refusing to investigate a single police killing in the entire state of California ... for her entire career.

Hopefully down a very, very short track. A police-state Democrat who used their minority identity as a shield for a system churning under however many poors were required to secure her own power is *not* what America needs right now. And, apparently, I’m not the only one who’s noticed.

Shortly after the probe was launched, Special Counsel Robert Mueller was appointed to investigate Russia’s attack on U.S. elections in 2016 and any possible ties to the Trump campaign. Mueller would have had access to any of the potential evidence uncovered by the FBI.

Wait ... the Democrats think it would be a good idea to do Bernie Sanders like the GOP did Ron Paul? Yeah. That worked out great for John McCain. So ... Bernie Bros are now invited to leave the party?

Not only that, but a large field will make it a lot harder for the GOP to focus on defining the ultimate nominee early. They’ll be stuck attacking a generic Democratic herd until at least the first few rounds of voting start.

Sadly, you probably aren’t wrong. But I’d rather a life hunting unicorns than one pretending to enjoy wallowing in pig slop. On one level, I suppose not being in a battleground state allows more flexibility to try and live an honest political ethos.

If the only two choices were Hillary and Trump, you’d have a point. But they weren’t. I’m well aware of the logic behind least-worstism ... I just recognize it for the poison that it is. I will always vote for who I think is the best option.

Ordinarily fair ... but in my defense, the main party’s options were between *&#$~ Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. I’m not voting for either one of those people. If you can justify it somehow, I’m not going to insult you - but I just couldn’t do that and live with myself.

Counterpoint: if everyone who honestly agrees with modern mainstream Republican policy ends up flocking to the Democratic party out of an aversion to Trump, progressives will become a rump minority and the party’s identity would be cemented in this same Regan-lite approach (that hasn’t exactly been doing most citizens

I may or may not be correct, but this gun-totin, libertarian-leaning independent sure as hell wouldn’t be accepted as a progressive. I voted Johnson. Like most centrists ... you’re jerk that “debates” by putting people in little boxes and then patting yourself on the back.

And then Obama went and selected that through and through racist to be his VP. Now they vacation together occasionally.

Saying they won’t is exactly the same as saying they can’t. I didn’t say he’s without weakness, I just pointed out that his advantages (legitimate popularity + name recognition + extensive WH experience) are almost insurmountable for any other challenger (or Trump, FWIW).

He recently served two full terms as one of the most popular US vice presidents in history ... and has been hovering in the 80% popularity range with Democrats and left-leaning independents all year.

By the same token, neither are anti-progressive centrists.

I don’t think the primary is going to end up being very dramatic. Unless something changes, Biden’s obviously going to be the runaway nominee. His math is almost insurmountable - and anyone qualified to run for president should be able to realize that. So media narrative flogging aside, this means mostly the other

Bad news for you kiddo, Joe Biden is going to be your nominee.

I think the reason Democrats have been getting your butts kicked is because you generally think like losers. At what point did you come to the conclusion that Trump continuing to bang on about “Pocahontas” somehow represents a potent attack?

Counterpoint: all she has to do is ignore the idiots from here on out and you all just end up looking stupid ... pretty much like Trump.

I’m a bit ambivalent.
