Jordan Fisher - who was miles more charming than Aaron - and Elle McLemore - who's Patty was a joy - really stole the show for me and major props to Vanessa for performing as she did since she truly shone amongst the major leads and did so under such circumstances.

I feel like the reviewer likes B99 so much that they get offended when it has more typical sitcom plots. It wasn't the most poignant episode, true, but why is it bad for a sitcom to use sitcom tropes?

I'm surprised at the grade - Lisa & Viola at the end at least make this a B. Karla was also great, the remaining ensemble did well - it amuses me to think of a bisexual Frank - and the episode overall was strong. I just need Oliver returned safe & sound!

I do love that we continue to ride this 'Ms. Robinson or Mother & Son' line with Wes and Annaliese because it certainly keeps things fresh for me and killing a mouse certainly falls more into the son zone.

Exactly. You can tell from its tone that Ryan thinks he's being so ~daring~ and so ~controversial~ when it's all just so contrived.

Like everything Ryan Murphy there were flashes of fun & true brilliance - the tone with Hester's body disposal scene as well as Ariana's death were just the right tone - mired by his need to offend people and use of tired/outdated tropes but with 50% more racism attached.

So, according to you, having an alcoholic parent who then pushed you down the stairs isn't abuse? good to know.

This is beautifully said & I completely agree.

okay, I don't know who you *think* you're talking to but it definitely isn't me like that.

I can't pull specifically right away but when it comes to Scott and Stiles I always get this feeling of Stiles always being mad that Scott is super positive and loving and looks to see the best in everyone instead of being more angry and embittered like he is.

While I'm upset at the *way* Stiles & Scott 'broke-up' - it should be because of how Scott, for better or worse, is always giving to him emotionally & getting little in return so that they can address it, Stiles can realize how much he takes Scott for granted, and move forward in an actual positive direction long term

'Tell me what you did in those shoes girl!'

I do feel the ending itself was a bit rushed and it threw off the pacing a bit to reach the conclusion within the time frame but I do like the divorce parents narrative they used with Steven that helped him help Ruby & Sapphire refuse. Sapphire realizing that present feelings are just as important as the future & that

I think this episode is one of the best examples of why Jeff Davis is so grating - he has no concept of storytelling or subtlety or, often, interesting ideas.

I agree with a lot of this excluding the comment that the need to find Malachite seems sudden as Garnet herself has been looking for it/them since at least 'Love Letters'

with good reason!

No, but Tyra definitely counts as one of the 'fashion' girls because her style was indeedpolished and a lot of her pieces not only looked nice but were things she wore herself (better looks include the 3 in 1 look for the country challenge & her bridal wear). There's more to being a fashion girl than just the avant

Leave it to Ru to make me feel like Sashabelle and not crown either the fan favorite or her clear favorite. I also definitely think it was shade to bring out Katya for the fake-out and do wish she'd been a surprise winner or that Bianca could've kept her crown for another year based on that silver glitter look but

What's become abundantly clear to me personally (and I realize now that my own naivete is to blame for i taking this long) is that Ru works each season with a specific narrative in mind, even more so now that audience participation has played a factor in final outcomes. The difference this season is that the illusion

I think your comment is having the opposite effect you intend it to but ok - work.
