I finally played Sleeping Dogs and it's one of my recent favorites. It's a shame it was so underhyped and underrated. I played Sleeping Dogs then immediately started GTA 5. I was very surprised on how long it took me to stop trying to drive on the wrong side of the road.

Same here. I bought a Wii U over the summer and put up the Wii. Buying a PS4 didn't even, for one second, make me consider putting up the PS3. One reason that I can't is because all of my digital PS1 games would be unplayable. (My 6 year old cellphone will play PS1 games, why can't my PS4?)

They are greatly overestimating people's desire to play PS3 games on their PS4. I still have both hooked up to my main tv and I guarantee that I'm far from alone in that.
