Freesync over HDMI exists. I know 100% that it is available on LG’s OLED TVs.

Yeah, if China wants our data they can do what everyone else has to do and buy it from Facebook.
FYI, creators get much more money from Youtube Premium clicks vs regular ad clicks. It’s broken out separately and is much more valuable. Some creators have shared that it’s almost 36x more revenue.
I highly recommend themonstersknow.com
It gives great ideas on tactics, interesting monsters to use, and ways to really challenge your players from basic kobolds to beholders and beyond.
That’s old information now. Starting Monday Geek Squad is closed.
As long as we are imagining things, I would imagine that should such a corrupted save file exist, it could be scanned when being uploaded to Nintendo’s servers. Once detected it could flag that console to be banned and delete the save. Most hacked consoles also can’t reliably connect to Nintendo Online. Nintendo is…
Wouldn’t that be more of a reason to enable cloud saves? All those past exploits involved loading a corrupted save onto an SD card and then reading the exploited save. If the saves were in the cloud there would be no need for SD card saves and thus lower the attack surface.
This is just one more instance where those who have hacked their Switches have the upperhand. Exporting and importing saves is super easy to do once you have homebrew on your Switch. The pirates have the better experience once again.
Something doesn’t add up here. In my experience setting up 2FA adding a phone number or recovery email requires them to be verified. A one time code is sent to that email/phone to verify ownership. This process eliminates typos. How did this person add a recovery email that doesn't exist?
TIL Spain still has a monarchy.
This crap right here is one of the many reasons I switch to a One Plus 7 Pro. Reliable updates, fast, flagship features and at a fraction of the cost of a Note 10 or a Pixel 4 XL that I was considering.
Obviously they’re going to pass the blame onto whatever 3rd party marketing firm they hired. Said firm is going to throw their animation team under the bus. In reality, it was actually the fault of managers above the actual animators who demanded project deadlines that were unrealistic. Desperate to keep their jobs…
Thanks for this breakdown, bookmarking it.
Isn’t that true of most any industry? Would you blame a car manufacturer when someone drives the car through a crowd of people? Were they too focused on revenue growth and not the awful shit that can result?
Latency is not the whole reason light guns dont work on modern TVs. It has to do with how the CRT TV makes a picture. The CRT draws the picture from top to bottom lighting up each row of phosphors sequentially. That sequential part is crucial because the gun is pointed at the screen and times when it sees the screen…
I’ve worked for Best Buy and my brother works for Walmart’s electronics department and I can tell you this does not happen. We pull the TV out of the regular retail box, hang it on the wall, and give it the default settings. There is no instructions to change the display settings.
If you could distill your writing to one article you've written, which would it be?
Epic obviously believes that it will sell more than they offered Ooblets. It’s a gamble, but I’d like to think they have some people who have run the numbers.
If it works, great! Everyone wins.
If it doesn’t? Great, all the Steam fanbois have something to yell about and maybe Epic tries something different next time.
Like Steam is any better at data privacy and security? Really? Have you paid attention to Steam over the years? I get that Steam has a lot more features these days, but it took them YEARS to get where they are.
“[Epic] offered us a minimum guarantee on sales that would match what we’d be wanting to earn if we were just selling Ooblets across all the stores. That takes a huge burden of uncertainty off of us because now we know that no matter what, the game won’t fail “
This right here is a win for Epic, a win for the…
