Prior games barely sold on Xbox. 

To be fair, it only took 8 years because it was made by the FFXIV team,  whose priority was, of course, FFXIV. So I don't it was monstrously expensive. 

Eh, to be fair, they never sold well on Xbox. I believe MS covered the cost of porting FFXV. All Sony has to is write a check, and that's more than what they otherwise would have made. Of course, FFXVI is prolly the one FF game that might have done well on Xbox, since it's very Western. 

I figured this would happen. They bought so many studios so quickly but lack the money to successfully run em. This was compounded further by expensive failures like Saint’s Row. They became so desperate for an influx of cash, they got in bed with Saudia Arabia, but that ended up being disastrous for them.

Quite a bit late to the party here but you don’t need to use the Joycons. Just buy the traditional handheld controller.

This could work! This series has some of the best lore to be found anywhere. Great franchise. Could be something like Monster Hunter. I just hope it gets a great budget. Mobile games do not inspire much confidence. I hope it gets proper funding, like SE does Final Fantasy XIV.

Syndicate is a lot of fun but its clearly a cross between between the old fomula and the new.

Dude, Black Flag had the best story of any AC game, bar none. Origins was also pretty good but Black Flag was uncredible. It was so heartfelt and I loved watching Edward’s progression. And him meeting his daughter at the end. Wow.

The Japan one. Codenamed: “AC Red.” Jade will be an open-world game set in China but for mobile phones. Mirage will be like classic AC. No idea about Hexe but I expect that to be open-world, too. There is also supposed to be an MMO, I believe.
