Give it a shot. I wasn’t happy with some of the casting choices, especially Amos, but Wes Chatham really sells the character and he’s grown on me. All of them have. And there are a lot of nods to book readers. In seasons 1 and 2, they’re already hinting at stuff that doesn’t get touched on until book 5.
I think the fact that they haven’t hit Bobbie’s main story arc (based on what you said, I haven’t finished season 2) might be the issue that Kirk and maybe some others are having with the Martians. Bobbie is such a kick-ass character in the books and we care about her quickly. But I feel like the Martian military…
