What's even worse is that Roush has already fired him in the past.

Sure they do! They set one on fire last year to get some air time

And he thinks the moon landings were fake.

No worse than the "Check Gage" light in Explorers/Rangers from the mid 90s

I feel the same way...it's either going to work, or it isn't.

Mine still works great (a 97 Explorer). The best combo for those is the 5.0/2wd IMO. Just harder to find depending on where you are. Also I don't know if they'll let you auto-x it considering it's a truck.

Good luck!

Of course. Those intakes are a pain in the ass to polish, with all of the casting marks and voids on the surface. I can imagine chroming aluminum isn't much fun either.

Ahhh yes. My 92. 3.2 swapped, stage 2 cams, catless. Quaife, and big brakes.

Only two? Lucky man...

Those are actually polished - he also had that yamaha timing cover made and polished, for his sandrail.

Those bolt outs work well - I used one on a breaker bar and it didn't break, and did its job. Of course, I paid $20 for them not long ago, and now they're on sale...

This particular one had the SHO drivetrain, and seats. There is also still a red AIV in Dearborn slowly decaying, probably will end up crushed...again if it hasn't yet.

Thank you for posting this...I saw this clip years ago and never knew what movie it was from.

A stock car, without a restrictor plate could probably run the same speed. And did, but at Talladega, which is a slightly "faster" track. Back in 04, Penske tested a car there unrestricted and had an average lap speed close to what this prototype did.

Looks like it's Fuck this shit o'clock at NASCAR HQ.

Not sure I would call the SHO limited production, they made plenty of them. The trans even bolts up to the 5 speed box in the 3.0L Probe...there are several SHO powered Probes out there now.

Nope, they should sell it here. It was mentioned on Top Gear that the 4 cylinder was the only one they would get...I thought it would be here too.

I think the XP8 is interesting, but I'd never buy one if it were for sale. They also built "XP6" Explorers that had the 4.0L SOHC engine.

Correct sir. Played it quite a bit.
