Neil Campbell's second rap made him winner of the freestyle rap contest, and it made him a major contender for the all-time champion of the creeping me out contest!

I don't really get the comments about it making no sense to do this on Mondays… Almost all the podcasts covered go from Monday to Friday, right? So it makes sense to have the time frame covered go from Monday-Friday, instead of Thursday-Friday, then Monday-Wednesday. We just got used to the old system.

I would not post a single episode past season 8 if it were my list. Hopefully Kyle will do something similar. I think this is one where it's hard to come up with a wrong answer, but it's interesting to note what he will pick.

A lot of French chefs, or even French cooking enthusiasts, feel that way. They tend to see French as above all other cooking, and often go out of their way especially to criticize Italian. I think they feel a strong rivalry because in terms of reputation among the elite, it is the only one that may be equal to French,

It does boggle my mind that people actually think a president could single-handedly destroy the largest economy in the world. You are seriously overestimating the influence that a president has on the economy. Not to mention that the economic policies of both are pretty similar. You may not have noticed, but both

That one looks like something somebody posted as a joke. Genuine or not, though, it is hilarious that someone would both use the title "Licensed Philosopher" and think that qualifies him to judge whether or not a joke is funny.

I don't know if it would even make my top 10.

At that point, though, there should be plenty of valid reasons to criticize the show, which would make the gag pointless. Plus, Rabin said at the beginning that he wanted to stop this feature at a point where the show was still great, so we might not even get to season 10. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.

In his partial defense, I didn't really like the rake gag when it first aired either. It genuinely was a divisive joke, even among Sipsons superfans at the time. I remember among my friends there were people who thought the joke was one of the best ever, and people like me who thought it went on too long.

Also the "Sideshow Bob Theme" music which makes it especially obvious was invented specifically for this episode.

Me too! I was always kind of ambivalent towards the guy before, but this one made me see that he really is a caring, nice person to his very core.

I'm glad to see Freakonomics up here, but I have to wonder if it's even worth covering the Marketplace segments. I mean, they're only about 5 minutes long.
