A few years ago, my wife and I took a bunch of photos of America through the eyes of Yotsuba (Danbo’s friend).
Not to mention, the student project Lurking being turned into the indie game Stifled. Much along the same lines.
In Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, my favorite in the franchise, Link actually kills the good guys.
He appears in the first issue of the first Marvel comic ever. He's been a king, a villain and a member of both the Avengers and the X-Men. But Namor hasn't felt central to the Marvel Universe in a while. The closest he's come has been his membership in the Illuminati, which culminated in lethal fashion in recent…

I was sure that would be in the headline - I mean, Kotaku, the hat.. the hair.... it's Link.
It is canon. Check out Havok & Wolverine: Meltdown sometime.
Hey, if it helps, there are plenty of Marvel princesses that Disney should recognize for their Princess line - I made a list on the Observation Deck not too long ago. Including Odin's other daughter, Angela (who has even worse "armor"...).
