Methinks the fella with the Challenger is asking too small a sum.

Okay, so you've come to a complete stop in the middle of the quarter mile and you take longer to right yourself and keep going than the other guy took to make his whole pass. Better give it all you got to see if you can catch up to him!

I'm rather surprised his wrist isn't badly messed up.

These bright details around the wheel arch make me think I’m seeing daylight through the bodywork and suspension.

Just because my cars are 13 and 15 years old doesn’t mean I need new bushings...oh wait, yes, yes it does.

In for a new clutch, I see.

I’m going to go for this overlooked gem, the Fillet Mirror. Why do carmakers continue posting the mirror within the DLO when it is so much more handsome on the door (or the fender):

Take whatever you can, recruit help and make a convoy out of it. My wife and I (and my 15 14 13 12 lb Maine Coon) moved from Texas to Washington in these two little cars.

I see the custom wheels...what size and tires are on there? What else have you done to the old girl?

Noooooo that poor Special Edition NB!

Because if the car had 170 hp at 5,000 or even 6,000 rpm, nobody would be talking about how much more power the car needs. Instead, we’d all be marveling at how it does so much with "just" 170 hp.

Something something something interference fit.

You’ve obviously never been stuck behind a Maserati Ghibli in traffic. Your first thout is “That’s a really convincing Maserati badge.” And your second thought is “I didn’t know Daewoo was still around.”

If anything, the BRZ could use a little less power. The designers gave it an engine that makes 200 hp, yes, but only in the last 500rpm before redline. If it had just 170 hp that kicked you in the butt at 5,000 rpm, it would feal like a real animal.

The Miata gets a pass because sports cars are graded on a curve—their power curve. It's not enough for a car to put up good numbers, but those numbers have to be in reach of where a person usually uses the engine. My Miata is plenty fun between 3,000 and 5,000 rpm, but the BRZ doesn't even come alive below 5,500.

Yeah, but that only happens in 13th gear, and it’s just a manifold plate...

Mine appears to be out on a roadtrip in Texas? But I just parked it down the street...

I just realized I put another Second Generation Silverado up in place of the Third Generation. Whoops.
