Because they're under one brand, it's more imperative to stand out since they potentially can step on each other's toes. They both want to be VAG's premier brand.

The difference between a "retailer" and a "dealer" revolves around the manufacturer's licensing/control over the products and services offered at the point-of-sale.

Publicity. If they hadn't been both VW Group Porsche would never allow Audi to shoot at their premises. Now, both teams gain publicity from this.

They want to win.

Because like lots of siblings, they have a heated and passionate rivalry and desire to win.

I dislike her, and the attention she gets on the track is siply because she's an attractive woman even though she's a mediocre at best driver, but the bagging on her for the godaddy stuff is stupid.
