I’ll add my two cents. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, real Brooklyn. Coney Island to be exact, but this same information applies to many of the outer boroughs. If you’re not a hipster, you can find very decent living conditions, that include a parking spot of some kind. Venture south of Prospect Park in Brooklyn

I thought that too, but maybe the overall height at the roof is going to be 1 foot lower?

put the engine from the Golf R in there with AWD, done.

Williamsburg, NY? are we really at that point now where hip Brooklyn areas filled with midwestern transplants are now named by themselves as a location in the state?

what’s with all the blurry as hell video lately? first of these police shootings and now this

rip TGUSA. I don’t care what all of the haters on the internets said, TGUSA was a lot better than what people gave it credit for. it got better every episode and these later seasons have been excellent car guy material. this season’s episodes in particular crap all over the new Top Gear with that Chris Evans blowhard.

this is what I see when I hear Chris Evans screaming

Yeah but vinegar smells like death

people forget that before Top Gear had gotten to its current format, JC actually had good things to say about many American cars. He even had praise for the Chrysler LHS, for pete’s sake.

I too was a big fan of old Top Gear, and after FinalGear went down, would refresh the torrent sites until the newest episode showed up for download every Sunday. I honestly gave this new show a chance, just to see if it would provide an hour of entertainment. and it doesn’t.

every time I see a donk, the driver is sitting all the way close up to the steering wheel, like real granny lean, hunched forward. then they recline their seat all the way back, but don’t lean back on their seat, they hunch forward.

was the guy wearing this

what I see in this video are two idiots competing for who is the bigger idiot. some people are just too stupid to realize a shit show when they see one and it escalates to this.

This. people fell in love with old Top Gear through those legendary road trips and challenges. the Artic one. the USA one through the south. that was the pinnacle and the recent seasons haven’t really been as good. they were entertaining for sure, but mostly forgettable. I can’t even remember a recent road trip that

-1.

Chris Evans is annoying. in every sense of the word. it’s seriously hard to watch and listen to the guy. I know people love to crap all over Top Gear USA, but its hosts are 100x more likeable personalities than this turd.

Fifth Gear was interesting in that it was kind of in the original Top Gear’s format. but that’s also why it was the also-ran. Top Gear needed to reinvent itself to be what it has become now.

“Do you not have wagons?”

depending on where you live and your commute, these optimal condition highway MPG numbers are completely meaningless. if you live in the NYC metro area, you rarely ever see a stretch of road where you can consistently cruise at highway speeds. the highways here are stop and go driving, and our city driving is

Trans Am racing is pretty cool actually. it’s basically American GT racing. also fun to note that a woman (yes, that’s right, there are legit good women race car drivers, unlike Danica and co.) won the top class championship last season.
