For all the LastPass users who have passwords you can't remember, what do you do when you need to log in to something at a friend's, mom and dad's, or on your smart phone? This is the one thing keeping me from using it.

I'll never forget my first office job out of college. My cubicle was set up so that I had my back to the entrance. One night after work, I rearranged it so i was facing the entrance. It really improved my well being—I wasn't exactly slacking off, but it seemed like someone always showed up right when I was checking my

As someone who monitors his pasta and blows down the bubbles as it cooks, I've always wondered if a small fan would work. I'll have to try this. Thanks!

If you delete all the data from the album artist field, it *should* sort it by artist. I don't use album artist at all and all of my music shows up and sorts as it should.

Oh, how about this infuriating one? I don't think it's purely an iOS 5 problem...

I've had my iPhone 4s about a month now and it lags sometimes when opening an app or sliding the unlock button on the lock screen. This never used to happen. Could it be a bad app? Or is something else going on?

Correlation doesn't equal causation—you and your friend probably would have needed glasses anyway due to genetics.

Interesting and seemingly sound advice. My concern is that so many on the internet, including agents with blogs, say that you don't even have a shot at getting published if you don't have at least 60k words, and that 80k-100k is probably the real sweet spot for first-time authors.

Does anyone know the correct way to estimate word count in a novel? Does it even matter? Some say the traditional way is to use 12 pt Courier and assume there are 250 words on a page. Others say you should just use the word count feature in Word and that the old way is too inaccurate.

For 99 cents it isn't a bad option, but I've tried a few of these apps and found they're not really worth bothering with. How often do you really need to know how to make a drink? And when you do, you can just Google it on your phone.

Yeah, um, what?

You mean when you have a text or an email? You can slide the icon on the lock screen notification to open the app? I just discovered this recently. Nice shortcut.

You make a great point, but it's outlined in the post in fewer words:

I'm confused by the wording in this article. So if you sign up for Timeline, you'll be the only one who can see it on your own profile for seven days? And after seven days all of your friends will be able to see it?

Same here, and it doesn't appear they have banner notifications, which is kind of a deal breaker for me.

Have you tried Thunderbird?

What's your email address?

You can kind of do that with the mail.app. Select the messages you want to archive and move them to the all mail folder.

Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Gmail>Archive Messages (off)

I agree, but you can easily change that behavior. It's one of the first things I did when I got my iPhone.
